Does the job, but I wish it lasted longer
I wish these lasted a little longer than 2 years, but they do the job. I feel like it is a little overpriced too.

Consistant performance
The Flashpoint RoveLight 600 and battery are reliable, portable, and durable. They make outdoor shoots easy and I have never had an issue with performance.

Very pleased!
This battery is an excellent backup for an excellent monolight. The portability and convenience of having on-board power is great. These batteries last a long time and have a very high capacity. I can shoot all day long at 1/4 power and still have plenty of charge remaining. I can shoot 2-3 days until I have to recharge. You can't beat the quality of these lights and batteries for the price!

Replacement battery...
Needed to replace the battery on my Rovelight 600 as I use this light for all my wedding formals.

Marginal Lifespan
Purchased two Rovelights, and both batteries have died now within two years. A friend who bought one at the same time still has his going strong, but it makes me nervous going out without a backup or wall AC option. I'd say you're guaranteed a year, but after that, be careful.

Battery died with minimal use
I bought three Rove lights with batteries and with minimal use, one of the batteries already died. Not sure I even want to purchase a new replacement battery (for the price) as they don't seem to last. I'm almost afraid to take the remaining two on photoshoots because of possible failure and the need to bring extra flashes as backups.

Replace in two years
I used this strobe only a couple of years since 2014 and had to replace the battery. Might purchase more if they ever have a sale if the shelf life is longer than a year.

Batteries that had to be replaced.
We bought two replacement batteries with our two rove lights... so that we would always have a spare, charged and ready. But we have had two batteries so far, which stopped working, and had to be sent back and replaced. Fortunately they were still under the warranty.
We sure hope this does not happen again. But otherwise we LOVE these lights! They have so changed the way we work, when on the road. For smaller shootings, headshots, or fill light outdoors, they are amazing. For bigger shoots, we still rely on our Flashpoint Monolights,, the "big guns".
