Works well.

It is important to note that this device doesn't follow the USB-C specification and cannot be used with most USB-C power adapters. You instead need to get an old-school 1A or 2A USB-A power adapter and find a USB-A to USB-C cable to get this charger to work. Also note that this charges at a slower rate than the original charger.

This charger is still much smaller than the original, but having to carry around a specific power adapter and cable for this kind of defeats the purpose of having this as a travel charger in my mind.

Great little gadget that does not take up a lot of space for those times when the battery is no longer as solid as it once was. This is one cool little tool.

A great charger

USB charging is a great option that allows me to travel much lighter utilizing the chargers I already own for all my other gear.  Size and weight is perfect. USB C implantation leaves room from improvement as it seem this charger doesn't actually support the USB-C charging protocol forcing the use of a USB A to C cable or an adapter when using chargers/packs that support the full C protocol.  Not a huge deal for me, but this is going to cause issues down the line as USB-C takes over in popularity from USB-A.

Room for improvement

I've got tired of going home to recharge my Zoom Li-ion Flash battery. When I discovered that Adorama sold the USB-C charger, I've ordered it ASAP. The worry of my battery dying while traveling has gone out the window. I pair this with my Anker portable charger and I'm a happy camper.

Worry Free while Traveling

It's a charger so there is only so much to review. I'm subtracting 1 star for not including a USB-C cable, and 1 star for not including a charging plug either. I knew they weren't included, but I think it's a pretty lame move to not have that stuff in the box.

Good

I chose this as a smaller option to the original charge that came with my speed light. First, it is so small I can easily throw it in the camera bag without worrying much about it. since it uses a USB C cable to charge, I know I always have cables for it and that I can easily charge from using a wall or car adapter or even a power bank.

Great upgrade to original charger

Great  thing to have because you can recharge in your car or from laptop but it doesn't come with the cord so it is useless until you get one which is another $20 or so. It's not a standard cord either finally found one but was not to happy about having to scramble. The one that fit was for an android and I'm an Apple person.
