Great item

It was exactly as pictured however without instructions so I had to go online and find a video to figure out how to put it together.  It functions great.

Quality feels excellent, but when originally receiving the 5 in 1 reflector, the white reflector had some residue on it...looked like some rust-colored schmutz (best way I can describe it). I contacted Adorama customer service and they were terrific, sending out a replacement right away. The replacement also had a little bit of the same residue on the white reflector, so I'm guessing this may be something from the manufacturing process (and no, it didn't come off when attempting to wipe it clean with a damp cloth). It was much less of an issue than the original I received, and I don't believe it will have any effect at all on the light quality. I'm still giving this kit a 5 star rating, as the build quality of the reflectors and included scrim are very good. Highly recommended!

Great reflector kit

The reflector is really nice and does a great job. The stand feels sturdy but does need to be weighed down with a sandbag, the arm however is the problem area. The problem is with mounting, the lollipop actually attaches to the shaft of the stand and has to put put on just right or it doesn't fit and tends to slide. This becomes very inconvenient when setting up and taking down, a better solution would have been to have a pin adapter to the top of the stand. With the current design the arm and stand will not fit in the bag supplied, only the stand will, leaving another piece of gear to carry loosely.

pretty sturdy st and  but i would recommend buying the sandbag for extra sturdiness especially outdoors.5n1 are really good fills insunlight where you need it outdoors and in for extra fill

I took off a star simply because its somewhat of a challenge getting the disc to collapse but Im sure I just need a little practice with it. Overall love my purchase!
