This clip is a must have item if you use any "pop open" backgrounds.

it's well made and does a good job of holding thin items.mainly i use it to hold reflectors, when outdoors i also use one on the bottom of the stand with the use of a smith victor mini clamp keeps the wind from blowing it around. the base is metal and thou the clamping part is plastic it handles things quit well. i don,t care much for plastic, but it seems to work well for what it dose.

I use this to hold a 32 inch reflector on the top of a light stand. Works well for my use and the price was good.

Not much to say. It does what its supposed to. I wish it could swivel up and down.

look solid and hold the reflector fine. However, the hole is too small to fit light stand , even with stud. Otherwise, it will be good product.

I use the clip indoors for studio setups to hold my reflector screens. It works well for that purpose.

I purchased this to hold up a 3x6' 5 in 1 reflector using any of my regular stands. I was delighted it even exists! I prefer it to A-clamps with pop up reflectors. There were 2 little things that kept me from giving it 5 stars: 1 - the spring is a little stiff and keeps the clip from retracting all the way. Not a big deal, but the reflector I am using has a wide metal frame. I end up having to take the clip on and off my stand in order to attach it to the reflector. That's how snug it is. 2- the knob that secures the clip to the stand has a rounded tip. Doesn't sound bad, except that in order to take the clip off the stand, I find myself loosening the knob past it's threads. I've already had it fall off a few times during a job. Nothing like having equipment fall apart and fumbling to put it back together to impress clients! I'm thinking of either filing it down or replacing it with something from the extras bin. My conclusion, even with those two grumbles, is that I like this clip and have found it to be extremely useful. I certainly recommend it.

I bought 2 of these for hanging 5x7 folding backgrounds horizontally. Fits fine on a standard light stand. Not the most robust piece of grip in the box. But if you handle your equipment with care, it should last a long time.

Inexpensive saving time to hold foldable backdrop ! Can't beat the price for this tiny item that saves time from large clamps on backdrops!! GREAT

The support itself is a great product and holds a background on a lighting stand very well. The flash point backgrounds are a problem though. The backgrounds at times warp and create an undesired effect. I believe that this clip would do a better job if there was an additional ridged horizontal support to go with it to prevent the warping of the flashpoint backgrounds. Even with this problem noted the flashpoint backgrounds and clip are good, portable, and easy to use products.

This Reflector Clip is solid and works perfect for me holding a 40" round reflector. I will buy more of these.

Slips right over the stud mount and tightens without difficulty. Would love to have a version that clamps around a 3/4" OD pipe, but this is not that product.

Great clip. Was told by another photo company that this clip did not exist and that I'd have to buy a $70 stand with the permanent attachment. Thanks Adorama for having add on parts for us to save us some money.

I was concerned about the lack of photographs and dimensions for the product. But it turned out to fit over the top of my light stand 5/8 stud and the 1/4-20 threaded stud made into the top of that.
