I've replaced the 7" reflectors included with my non-pro 600's. Haven't noticed any change in the quality or direction of the light. Takes up less space and allows for other accessories.
Great reflector, but not for the original Xplor AD600B (non pro)
This reflector is such a great improvement for the AD600Pro. But, I see people commenting they are using this for the original Xplor AD600B as a replacement for the reflector. This is not designed for that light. Yes, it will fit because its a Bowens mount, but the reflector sits way to deep on the bulb, and you lose over 2 stops of light(Yes, I just tested it on a AD600B vs a AD600Pro). I would not use it for that purpose unless you just want it as storage protection.
