This is awesome when you're looking for a smaller option compared to the pro option which I also own. This is much more convenient if you're out and about shooting with one or maybe two lights. I just really wish they made this for Fuji as well because the pro is almost the size of my X-E4 with 35mm lol.

Slightly cheaper option but doesn’t do TTL. Will do HSS if you set it on the flash. Simple interface, solid build.

This transmitter is a simple no frills trigger for the Godox, Flashpoint ecosystem. The numbers are big and it’s very simple to change and adjust lighting groups on the fly. I operate my off-camera flashes on location mainly in Manual mode. The Flashpoint R2T doesn’t do TTL but works with HSS all the way to 1/8000.

I was utterly thrilled to see how adaptable this unit is on my D850. Because I have the original transmitter that I purchased with my Flashpoint strobe and use on my D7200, there was virtually no learning curve. I also use it as a trigger when I want to meter the light. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I am a dedicated Nikon user but, I think one can use this same trigger on a Canon camera. I HIGHLY recommend this R2T transmitter to anyone. Oh, I can’t forget that the first and second transmitter is reliable.

BEWARE that some Adorama staff incorrectly claim this unit works in TTL mode. It does not, which is why I returned mine for an XProC that does do Canon TTL. I did use the R2T 32 Channel transmitter on a shoot before returning it and found it capable when controlling multiple flashes in manual mode. Overall however, the plethora of buttons and combinations of buttons that controls various Flashpoint unit functions are not intuitive. The manuals are of little help. Plan on spending some time learning this system to get its full power and versatility.

Seems pretty reliable so far. The 2 AA batteries have lasted through over 3 hours of shooting. The printed manual included in the box isn't very clear, but YouTubing walkthroughs online easily helped me understand how to do what I wanted to do.

I love it for simple to use manual setup. Much better than original version. If using only manual this is a simple interface that might be better for many as it will be easier to work with. Faster workflow for manual.

This combines all the elements I've wanted since starting with "speedlight" type strobes 6 yrs ago: 1. Remote power adjustment -- no more climbing over to the light to adjust, climbing back to the camera, taking the shot, maybe readjusting, etc. 2. Internal Li-on battery with 100's of flashes per charge. 3. large, easy to operate controller. No more ext receivers, no more battery magazines hanging from the stand. Faster set-up. The future. Yay.

From my limited experience so far it is pretty sweet,,, easy to use seems to work great especially for the price. It only got 3 stars however, because the first one I got did not function and had to be returned... and it does not function if the trigger and the flash are within 18 inches of each other... a ridiculous glitch.
