Does what it is supposed to do, meaning, it plugs in to the side of an old style AD360 / Streaklight 360 and lets you contral that flash with the newer 2.4Ghz transmitters. Only problem is these are a bit fragile. Also, they just kind of hang off the side of the streaklight and I am a bit concerned they might just fall off.

It works great. At first I did not think it worked. Channels are very weird, so I had to research the internet to figure out how to make the channels match up with my flash. Adorama should really take notice of this issue.

These guys do exactly what I wanted them for. They fire my old Newer lights. Only bad thing is they can’t adjust the intensity but I knew it probably wouldn’t.

TBH I bought this item blindly as no review or report would indicate that it would work with my Bolt VB22. I needed a receiver that would work with the flashpoint/Godox RT2 lineup series. And surprisingly, it works! So now I am able to trigger my Bolt with the Flashpoint RT2 trigger along with my other RT2 strobes. I cant control the settings but this allows me to use it alongside my Flashpoint and Godox lights, which is amazing.

I bought this to use my old Streaklight 360 with my new R2 trigger. It turns out you need a manual to set the channel correctly. It's easily available if you know where to look (thank you Adorama Support!!). To find it, pull up the product page and search for "Channel Guide Download Here." It's all easy from there. Of course, I think that info should come with the receiver. Actually, "Channel One" starts with 0000 and goes up from there. Guess I should have figured that out.Be aware, though, that the current Nikon version of the R2 Pro Trigger does not do HSS. Adorama Support confirmed this and requested a firmware update to fix (thank you again Adorama Support!!). Otherwise, the receiver works fine!

Bought for overhauling system of old "R1" lights (360's, 180, speedlights) over to the 2.4g system and using the R2Pro trigger for Nikon. Adjusting power and firing works just fine! Sadly cannot (at this time) perform HSS with the new trigger. Yes, even in 'sync' and HSS on light. I use HSS with the old triggers often so I'm very familiar. Even called the direct line on Adorama and they didn't know what to tell me, still haven't heard back since...

The Flashpoint R2 Bridge Receiver for Non-R2 Streaklights was used on my original Streaklights which are totally manual and not TTL. They worked perfectly with the R2 TTL controller.

So I recently purchased this receiver to pair with my version 1 Flashpoint Streaklight 360 and the Flashpoint R2 E-TTL Transmitter for Canon Cameras (X1T-C). What the manual failed to mention (although I did figure it out after some guesswork), was that the transmitter addresses groups A - E. The receiver channel corresponded to the same letter channels. So, to fire on Group A, set the receiver to group A, too. I originally thought the receiver started numbering up at 0, not A. This is why I played around with the setup when I received these new toys and not on the day of my photo shoot. Other than that, it performed admirably.

I upgraded from the R1 receiver for my 360, so I could control both it and my speedlight from the camera. Having this and the R2 Pro remote is great.

Perfect inexpensive upgrade to our four Flashpoint Streaklight AD360's which allows them to be adjusted and triggered by either the R2 remote or an on-camera Flashpoint Li-on Zoom flash. Very happy with the results as they have been consistent in a variety of shoots!

I'm very happy with the decision to buy this. It's a small and effective receiver. I haven't had any problems thus far.
