Purchased this remote to trigger 2 Flashpoint Budget Strobes. Remote worked on every shot. Comes complete with all cables and adapters. Very happy with the device.

You don't get all of the features of the high priced radio remotes but the little I use them they work great for me. I would give them a five star rating if the battery wasn't dead when I received the product. Some instructions about replacing the battery would have been nice since I didn't know it had one, I thought maybe it got power from the hot shoe on the camera. I figured it out by reading reviews.

I took a chance and glad I did. Fires immediately; no lag time. I use with Flashpoint 320Ms. So far it is reliable and I will continue to use. Best bang for the buck. No TTL, manual only but no problem for me, I always use flash meter to get the light just right. If you are on a budget you can't beat them, but I find these are a great substitute for more expensive brands. They are not built real sturdy but I purchased three sets in case of any failure. So far no issues. I plan on buying the DC version too. Works great in studio and out doors as well. Very good distance.

I was skeptical at first about using this product because I had been using a remote infrared trigger for so long. I bought this and I love it. It fires fast there is no lag with it like the other triggers i have used.. I no longer have to worry about missing important shots.

I bought this item to go along with a new strobe and did not want to be tethered by any wires, so a radio trigger was an absolute must. So far the ease and convenience of this item has been wonderful.

It does not have bells and whistles, but does the job done. This item probably is not for a very long use (or needs to be very well taken care of), because the construction is cheap and flimsy, but for that money it is perfect.

Quite easy to use. AC powered receiver eliminates the problem with batteries. Only derogatory comment is that the transmitter 12V battery is a little difficult to replace.

Purchased for a home studio, the unit plays well with a D7000. Cheaply constructed, and should be included with the higher end Flashpoint monolight kits for free. The manual is missing important information, like the battery replacement procedure. There's a screw hidden under a sticker. If you try to pry the unit apart without removing the hidden screw, you will break it. The flash controller works as advertised, so four stars. Full review with photos here:[@]

These were great radio triggers for a couple of years. Not the rock-solid triggering reliability one might like, but not bad. Range is OK; works in large halls, and outdoors, and through one wall, but no more. Generally was very pleased, until I had to replace one that failed (after two+ years, that's ok for this price) then I discovered that the newer units under the same part number are not interoperable. So, all in all, great starting point while you learn, but if you're a pro, you can bank on forking over the big-bucks for one of the real professional grade systems at some point. Bottom line recommendation is yes, but not if you know you're livelihood depends on the 100% performance of the unit.

Received the unit and the transmitter internal 12 Volt battery was stone cold dead. Had to tear through the QC seal to remove the screw to get inside the unit. Replaced the battery and the unit worked properly only when mounted to my camera's hot shoe or when I press the "Test" button on top of the transmitter. The enclosed PC sync cord was defective as it has an open circuit. Replaced it with an identical unit (I had on hand) and now the unit fires my monolights intermittantly. The 1/8 inch phone jack (on the internal printed circuit board) either has a cold solder connection or is contacting the phone pin intermittantly. I will be using this unit with the PC sync cord most of the time, so I need a reliable connection through the transmitter's phone jack and PC sync cord. If I was using the transmitter mounted to my camera's hot shoe all of the time, the only issue I would have with this unit is the dead battery right out of the box.

I WILL USE THIS PRODUCT FOR FAMILY GATHERINGS, QUINCEANERAS, WEDDINGS, PORTRAITS. I GOT IT IN TIME FOR MY NICE'S QUINCEANERA. WHAT A DIFFERENCE NOT DRAGGING CABLES AROUND. I HAVE TWO FLASHPOINT 320'S AND THEY WORKED FINE ALL NIGHT LONG FOR 325 FLASH SHOTS. QUINCEANERAS ARE THE HISPANIC EQUIVALENT OF A SWEET SIXTEEN. THE KIDS LOVED THE PICTURE TAKING WITH THE QUINCEANERA. FOR SHOTS AWAY FROM THE SET UP, JUST PULLED OFF THE TRANSMITTER, SLID THE FLASH AND SHOOT. I LOVED EVERYSHOT TAKEN, SOME SAY YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, BUT I BELIEVE I GOT MORE THAN WHAT PRICE I PAID FOR THIS GADGET. IT MAY NOT BE A POCKET WIZARD, BUT MY OLD BUICK TAKES BE TO WORK JUST AS WELL AS A MERCEDES!

Works great with the included receiver, but is not compatible with other Flashpoint receivers. Also, the power cord is not at all compatible with Flashpoint's own strobe light. Had to scavenge a power cord from my computer to plug it in. Now requires 2 power cables to my strobes.

this set exceeded my expectations Vs. other products priced much higher then this. never had a missfire yet. only issue i have is that the "Flashpoint Radio Remote 4 Channel Receiver Only" FPRRS4R Shoe mount receiver will not work with the transmitter for this set. other then that minor annoyance this is a great product.

I used these to get me by as I was saving for better equipment. They did a great job in my studio. They were hooked up to photogenic powerlights and triggered flawlessly for the time they were being used. I'm in an area that doesn't have interference from other signals, so they worked great for me.

Super easy to setup, even easier to use. Plug them in and forget about them. Have yet to have a misfire while shooting. Can be a bit of a challenge while trying to use a light meter. You have to plug the transmitter into the PC socket of the light meter and carry both around. Other than that a great, inexpensive solution for a small studio.

Works great, unit on flash doesn't need battery's, the unit on the camera is small, light weight & compact, also seems to be very good on batterys

Even with its low cost, this product performs flawlessly. Have used it for over six months with no problems. I have an older light meter, that still works perfectly, and bought an additional transmitter. Using the plug with the transmitter, plugged into the light meter and now I have a wireless light meter that also works every time.

This immediately removed the hassle of tripping on the sync cord in my small studio. I should have bought one of these years ago. Simple instructions, but they really weren't needed.

Remote has worked perfectly so far, although I've only used it at short ranges (20' or less). It doesn't look particularly sturdy, though especially the transmitter. If I was going to be transporting them around a lot I might look for something better constructed.

I have only used this product twice since I bought it. I wanted to be able to use three monolights for a portrait project and this did the job at a good price.

Bought this set as a low price alternative to dropping bigger buck for a more expensive radio trigger unit. Just finished up shooting a school dance.....unit worked flawlessly! Not a single mis-fire...No problems at all [...]

I have taken several hundred shots using studio strobes with this product and have never had the units not fire. If you are in the market for reliable triggers on a budget - get these. You won't be disappointed.

GREAT value for your money. I've used this remote trigger on table-top still life shots to large family port. sessions and it's worked EVERY time flawlessly.

Designed to simultaneously trigger monolights or strobes wirelessly. There are four channels so each channel can avoid interference from others working the same job. It will also keep others at the event from firing your lights with their point and shoot cameras. Because of its low power consumption the transmitter can be fired 20,000 times on a single 3 volt, #BYUL23A battery. There is only 0.01mA of current so it may be safely used with all digital and film cameras.
This set is not compatible with older sets. Please check with our staff.
