I bought this for my first monolights ever. It was easy as plug and play. It worked fine and is still going.

It simply works. You can't beat the price.

If you can do without the full lighting control over a group of monolights, this is a nice functional unit. Simple, but it works well.

Use two with pair of Adorama "Flashpoint Budget Studio Monolight Flash, 300 Watt Seconds" to complete the "budget" studio lighting kit without spending more for the radios than for the lights. ++Easy to setup, no interference (so far) from other radios/sources, only used with camera ~20ft from lights (so I don't know about the 65ft rating). --One of my two transmitters stopped working via the hot-shoe, still works via the PC-cable; of course, I only need one transmitter for the two receivers.

Easy to operate but would not recommend using this with more than 1 photographer using the same remote control. They do interfere with each other. Would buy again even when on different channels.

This remote completes my portable studio for on location shoots. I would buy & recommend it.

This Flashpoint Radio Remote 4 Channel Receiver does everything advertised for way less than other Brand name products for the same purpose. Only downside is my flash uses a sub-miniature adapter which I had to purchase separately.

I use this product for Portraits, Weddings, Quinceaneras,Little league, Karate Demos, Grank kids football, and it allows me to photograph right there in the park. Along with my Flashpoint monolights and power battery pack it is plain and simple Awsome!!!! Got it last week, have shot over 600 shots and missifired once....the moonlight was OFF!! Go figure!! Doesn't get any better than this. Worth the price and much satisfied with quality and results.

Works great on controling the light and syncs with white balance. Portraits look amazing and light effects are spot on.

Bought this to control my SB-600 along with the 4 channel wireless set, it wont respond, it works if I plug it in via sync cord, but don't respond at all to the 4 channel trigger, I guess it's time to stop playing with toys and get serious and order the radio popper

First thing, the images on the website show a hot-shoe receiver, that is sold separate, this unit only comes with the transmitter and a Sync cord receiver, Second, I connected it to one of my flashpoint 320M studio strobes and a Nikon D-60, the unit wont sync at 1/200 like the book says it will, the bottom half of the pics were black indicating the shutter curtain already closed along the bottom of the image before the flash fired, slow the shutter down to 1/125 or 1/100 and the results are good Third, there seams to be no way to replace the battery in the transmitter (If it uses one) the book makes no reference to a battery or any way to recharge the transmitter, it only references the triple a batteries for the receiver, since the transmitter worked right out of the box, my guess is it has a watch battery inside it, once dead you toss it and buy another one

This a great economical unit. It works well with analog (film) flashes. Does not with my Pro-Master digital falsh. I would highly recommend for those that shoot on location.

The first unit did not work 90% of the time. I called the store, after the "return period". The store agreed to have me send the unit back, and they replaced it with a new one. They were very good about that, although, I would have preferred a refund, but, it was after the return date.

If you know how to use your flash, you'll figure these out. No TTL or auto settings - set your flash to manual. They work from really long distances and, best of all, they are quite inexpensive, meaning you can get a couple backup units and be ready for just about any situation. This was a replacement because my stand fell over - they are not rugged, so get extras. Bargain? Umm, well, at least worth the money.

This suprised me, it actually works well. I did not need to buy those really expensive ones.

It DOES occasionally fire randomly, but when you tell it to fire it really does fire. It's outdoor performance is really good since i can take it outdoors and not worry about other radio signals triggering my flashes. However its light weight and small base make it an issue if you don't have a tripod working with it especially for the higher end flashes.

It's a great add on to the kit I already have. Can't complain too much except that it fires randomly occasionally, but when you tell it to fire, it really fires and thats what matters.

For the money, it works great. No problems with not firing when needed. Works great with SB600.

Totally unusable! First day misfire, after misfire, after misfire! 65' HA! More like 24' or LESS! Batteries die very fast (with Lithium batteries!) Will not go through objects, especially people! Sensor very sensitive to touch, if I'm touching it it will not fire!

I've used these on different camera bodies and they fire reasonably reliably. When used with speedlites, you may have to use the test button to "wake them up" following longer delays. Although the manual claims faster flash sync speeds, they will not sync at shutter speeds of 250 or higher. Below 250, all is well.

surprisingly it withstands enough rough usage...versatile enough due to 1/4" female thread at the bottom and the sync port on the side. it works well with my 120j using the sync port. good enough for frugal photographer like me. it can receive signal from as far as 120ft. by modifying the trigger and adding external antenna.

I have been using this set for a year now. I use it mostly for family/friend portraits. It triggers my SB-26 / SB-800. It does misfire about once every 40 shots or so. I don't require a long range for triggering. Have used it to trigger flashes from about 50' with good success. Don't use rechargeable batteries! Wish it came with a pc to pc cord instead of the pc to 3.5mm plug

Have not had it long but works great so far... Only problem that I have had is that it does not work when I have my glasses on (not a big deal because i like to take them off when i shoot anyway). i guess the metal in my glasses disrupts the signal or something...

Easy to setup and use. 1st day it worked fine. 2nd day it worked for 30 mins. By the time I got my setup ready at home with the lights etc, it started behaving wierd. If I press the test button on top it works fine but when I hit the shutter button, it fires at times and at times just refuses to fire. Got sick of it. I am going to exchange this piece. Either pick up an expensive piece or go Wired.

These work great with my studio strobes and speedlights. Good range. No misfires so far! On the flimsy side but can't beat the price!

This is a very good product for the money. I use it mainly for portraits & macro work. Easy to use & consistent. Good starting set-up for off-camera flash. Great for those of us who can't justify the $$$ for PW's!

So far this radio system has worked as expected. It is actually around the same price range as the cheap[...] radio slaves, but so far works more reliably than the one I had bought off of [...]. If you don't mind giving up TTL, or have difficult situations, these work well.

Excellent Triggers
By Jeffrey P.
This trigger set is amazing. Very easy to use. Just set the channel and pop, it works. Tested distance and these are good until atleast 100ft. I use this on my Flashpoint II 620A. I also use this on my SB600 speedlight to optically trigger the 620A and SB900. It works because it eliminates the pre-flash so all the lights fire exactly at the same time. I need to buy another receiver for the 620a so I can fire it when doing events where there are other flashes being used. These work just as goo...
