Shopper : Is there a Sony Version? If not will either canon or Nikon version work, and if so, what are there any limitations?Brands@ A : No Sony Version... a Sony product needs to be mounted directly on the camera, due to the need of a plastic shoe, Sony type accessories are often not safe on brackets or other adapters.ROBERT K : If you can’t find a Sony version the canon or Nikon version probably won’t work. Useful gadget
This adapter is quite useful when I have my camera on a tall tripod. It angles the R2 Pro Mark II transmitter display and controls so they can be seen when located above eye level. It does increase the height of the setup from about 2-3/4" to about 6". Quality materials were used and this should last a long time, but it also suffers from a lack of quality control in the manufacturing process. Mine had a locking ring that would not turn due to excessive flashing on the plastic parts that could easily have been removed during assembly. Most purchasers would have thrown this adapter away and purchased an new one, but I did persevere and got the defect cleared away with required patience by means of an Xacto knife.

A must have for the R2 Pro II trigger
This is a great product and addition to the R2Pro II trigger. It actually allows you to see the LCD at various camera angles which was virtually impossible without the vertical hot shoe adapter. It does add height to the trigger, but in studio on a tripod... and in most instances hand held, this does not present any issues. Highly recommend for the R2 Pro II trigger.

Works for Panasonic Lumix!
It works! It's listed as Canon, but I use it on the Lumix G9 and GH5. The pin placement is close enough that it works and allows me to see the display on the Pro transmitter when the camera is on a tripod without repositioning the camera or bobbing my head.

Flashpoint Vertical TTL Hot Shoe for Camera Remote - Nikon
The product is of good quality, and nice manufacturing, but I wish the design of the flash unit would have been to make it more upright when it was designed, then this part would not be needed. It works fine but is way to tall and gets in the way.

Hot shoe extension
The hot shoe extension works and is an asset when needed. With the R2 Pro II trigger for me it is a bit of over kill unless I have my Camera on a tripod below eye level. It is early yet as I have only had it for a couple of weeks and only using it with Canon speed lights. Have ordered Flashpoint 400 pro but it has not arrived as of yet. Looking forward to using high speed sync with the aspen trees in Colorado this year.

Works as advertised with my Canon ST-E3-RT Speedlite Transmitter. Had some instances where the selected flash would de-select itself (as if the shutter were half-pressed), but likely a pin connection issue. Tapping the connection a bit solved it.

A necessary accessory for the XPRO transmitters.
This is a great addition to the Flashpoint lighting system. It works as advertised and is of high quality. The XPRO triggers should have been designed initially with this angle of view, or at least an adjustable angled display. This is a good, low cost, solution.

The Flashpoint Vertical TTL Hot Shoe takes that wireless remote atop your DSLR hotshoe and stands it up. The LCD panel faces you directly. The TTL friendly shoe relates all camera information to the attached remote. The shoe will forever keep you from craning your neck to get an overhead view of the display screen. 1. Slide the remote fulling on the Vertical TTL Hot Shoe and lock it firmly in position.
