I own the version I of this trigger and it has worked great for me for many years. The version II is even better with the ability to double-tap on a group button to quickly turn the group off without having to cycle through the modes.

Not only did this give me the ability to use off camera flash with the ad200 I bought, but it also connects to my Godox V1 which I didn't realize I could connect to a light stand and use as a second flash. Really happy with this purchase. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to hook them up separately so I can make both lights fire but at different powers, but I figured it out and it's awesome.

It works good, so far anyway. Not a fan of how the app was set up. I found it annoying really. The slide on the horseshoe is way better than the previous version. It's maybe ten dollars over priced, but that's my opinion on it. lol

Flashpoint R2 XPro II 2.4GHz TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Is my first trigger. After researching different brands of light kits I decided to go with Flashpoint/Godox. It was easy to set up and get started shooting right away. Menus are easy to follow and the ease of use adjusting light output was very nice. I highly recommend this product!

Unlike previous Flashpoint/Godox Sony triggers this one actually fits in a Sony A1 without needing a sledgehammer to drive it in. Very full-featured trigger with lots of control over the Flashpoint/Godox line of flashes and strobes. Fairly intuitive to use.

Feels like it's more solid that the 1st generation of this trigger. Better plastic and functionality and fit on the hot shoe.

This is definitely an improved version over the original v1 transmitter. The screen is slightly brighter, with more contrast, which definitely has helped in shooting outdoors and in brighter sun. The hot-shoe mount and foot also seems built sturdier too, which was a problem in the previous v1 iteration; that one was held together at the base by VERY tiny screws that barely protruded into the plastic housing of the main body, so it would easily come apart with no way to fix it. . . time will only tell with this model. MUCH improved is the addition of a short-throw button lock for the hot shoe mount - Bravo! It locks positively with a 'click', unlike the previous version's "twist multiple times" lock, which is comparatively annoying and too easy to over-tighten. The body of this v2 is slightly larger, but comparing the 2 in weight and feel, you'd hardly notice. The menu system has been upgraded and improved, too. Strangely though, there's no 'back' button in some of the sub-menu's - a strange omission, given that some sub-menu's have it. All in all, a pretty nice upgrade in this v2 transmitter over the v1. In a future iteration, or firmware upgrade, I'd love to have the ability to customize the 4 direct access menu buttons right below the bottom of the screen; to be able to tailor these 4 buttons to my shooting needs would keep me from having to stop a shoot and dig through menu's. Adding this transmitter to the integration of Flashpoint/Godox in Sekonic meters, and you've got a wireless match made in heaven for flash photography! Just make sure to buy a second one -- it's always good to have a backup, just in case. Definitely recommended!

Bought this together with the Xplor 600 Pro TTL flash unit. Using both together with a Leica M240, Leica Monocrom Typ 246, and Leica SL Typ 601. Firmware on the Transmitter was up-to-date out of the box, while the strobe unit requires and update to version 1.7 in order to work with Leica. The firmware version on Adorama's flashpoint website was only 1.5, so I had to call into to Adorama's tech service to take care of this--they got the firmware from the manufacturer's website. Be warned: updating firmware for flashpoint products using Windows 10 is not something for novices. Once updated, the results are: Leica SL Typ 601: works fine in TTL mode at all shutter speeds Leica M246 and M240: works fine only up to 1/180s. Will not work at speeds faster than 1/180s in TTL mode: the strobe "stutters" (multiple bursts?) and only a slice of the sensor is exposed. Works fine in manual mode at 1/180s or slower. Note: the manufacturer does not claim compatibility for these bodies (but it would have been nice!) So I'll keep it, accepting the limitation for the older bodies.

Over the years, the Flashpoint R2 ProII C wireless flash trigger has established itself as the ultimate command center for Canon cameras, offering unparalleled control over the R2 wireless system devices. This advanced trigger, designed specifically for the R2 Family of Flash, brings a new level of precision and control to your photography.
The R2 ProII C is equipped with expanded precision derived from the highly acclaimed FP R2 Pro version. It seamlessly links to the Sekonic L-858 Light Meter through an optional RT-GX radio module, providing accurate readings to prepare for your shoot. This ensures optimal control over ratios, contrast, and color, which are best managed through a flash meter.
The trigger features instinctive Group buttons located conveniently on the left of the display panel, allowing for quick and easy access. With built-in Bluetooth, it connects to the graphical FP Smartphone APP, enabling remote operation with a reach of up to 328 feet or 100 meters. This feature, coupled with the fine-tuned smartphone APP, provides Apple or Android mobile photographers with a smooth and enjoyable shooting experience.
The R2 ProII C also introduces multiple dual-purpose custom button assignments, along with long-awaited single-pin non-automated triggering. This innovation continues with the 2 Way TCM - TTL to Manual settings and back again. This feature allows you to overcome exposure fluctuations that may occur in TTL shooting by saving the correct exposure value to Manual settings for repeat capture accuracy. You can flip between Manual and TTL without any worry, ensuring accurate results every time.
The R2 ProII C transmitter is designed for DSLR photographers, offering a stable signal broadcast and direct info access through a backlit dot matrix LCD screen. It displays all 5 Groups simultaneously and provides selective transmission of values to conserve energy. It also supports extended multiple Group triggering.
This on-camera transmitter empowers photographers to direct the entire R2 Family, including Zoom Series speedlights, Lithium battery-powered eVOLV Series strobes, and every version of XPLOR monolights and AC Rapid and Studio monolights. It even allows tweaking of the remote flash coverage of Zoom speedlights right from the R2 ProII C.
The R2 ProII C also offers Second Curtain Sync, HSS, high-speed synchronization, and remote modeling light status from the Canon camera menu system. Its compact and lightweight design, combined with integrated functions and features, make it a top choice for professional photographers.
The proprietary TTL-enabled 2.4GHz R2 Radio Remote System radio triggers transmit atop any Canon DSLR, MSLR, or M Series body and work with the complete family of Flashpoint Speedlights, Monolights, and Strobe lights with unrivaled R2 TTL radio transceiver built right in. The R2 ProII C for Canon is the natural choice for the Family of R2 Wireless Remote, offering complete control, utter simplicity, and masterful performance.
