Good butterfly bags
These are great bags. Seems that they are well made and will last awhile. Zippers and fabric are nice?? I opted to fill mine with steel shot for a heavier fill weight. The area between the zippers where the handle is stitched on is much wider than the on a traditional sewn-shut butterfly bag. This means they tend to hang a bit lower when saddled over a c-stand leg, or other object.

The best fillable sandbag
The 18lb version is the one you want. It's a much better shape and size than the 27 and 35lb bags. Those are both useless on c stands as they sit on the ground rather than the c stand leg. 15lb bags are nice but just not quite heavy enough. All the bags are really nice quality and I haven't had any issues with them coming apart. I'll update if I end up having any problems with them.

worth the wait
this was on backorder for two months and just arrived. the double zip feature made this worth the wait, it also feels very strong. i will definitely buy more in the future.

Hold that tripod
Very tough bags. Strap allows tripod leg to be secure with weight inside tripod legs so you don't trip over them.

These are tough and work well. Use dry beans for light, tripods, and BBs for heavy tripods. Also, Velcro works well to attach them together around the tube leg; so that you don't trip over them.

Its all Quality
This was my first C-Stand purchase so I bought the extra 'accessories' like the sandbag. It's all quality. I'm happy with it. Now to go raid the neighborhood sandbox. lol

Excellent Bags, Almost-Perfect Design
These bags appear as advertised and work very well. Their design and material are both very rugged and leave much confidence in their use. The only detractor to this design is the secondary "inner" zipper that is placed in each compartment. While I understand the need for a secondary line of security for the sand, or in our case pea gravel, these zippers become increasingly difficult to access as the bag becomes filled, undermining their purpose. Otherwise, these bags are fantastic and we will continue to use them in our community film center space.
