Review Summary

This cord is well-built, forms good connections, and handles well. The overmolded connectors are easy to handle and have appropriate strain-reliefs and textured knurls for confident control. The PC connector is reliably snug when in place (as compared to other brands that can be terrifyingly loose, or others that require pliers to disconnect). The cable has a flexible, easy-lying feel (a slightly rubberized texture, as opposed to other stiff, shiny plastic cables.)

I'd been using my Flashpoint 320 in just slave mode but wanted to retask it for another use, so I needed a sync cable. This cable is perfect for my needs.

Easy to use, cheap and durable 1/4 in cable. Just what I needed when strobe I purchased didn't come with one.

I use this cable to connect a Sony DSLR-A100 with a Hot Shoe to PC sync adapter to a Photogenic Powerlight 600 studio strobe. Portraits are the primary type of images being taken. The cable is long enough to allow moving to different angles. It seems durable enough for my usage.

For a budget-minded photographer, this is the best way to trigger studio flashes. Inexpensive wireless options sometimes fail to trigger, but this one works every time.

A pretty good cord, and a good length, but like all these fairly light molded cords they are prone to break, especially at the pc connector end. One of mine, for my Flashpoint flashes, broke on about the 10th use. Buy a few extra just in case.

Nice how thin it is. It does not get in the way.
