Of course my tripod is useless with out this. The plate fits snug and tight to my tripod and camera. It is made well along with the tripod. I've not had better so it it is hard to find any cons with this part of my Flashpoint tripod system.

this plate if fine for light weight, short combos. It slips on anything greater than 1.5lbs overhung.

I find it easy enough to "quick release" but not so easy to get the camera back on. Also, while I carried the tripod with camera attached around the trails of a wildflower preserve, the camera kept loosening up--not to detach, but I would have to keep tightening the screw with a quarter...and I didn't have one with me! It was quite a nuisance!

This is a very durable quick release plate. I will buy it again.

Have one on each lens and camera body for instant attachment to your tripod.

This plate is small, yet solid. Put one on each lens and camera body in your kit and the rest is easy!!!

I love not to have to take one of these plates off of one camera to put on another camera or lens. When switching equipment to get the perfect shot.

This works great with its counterparts. The only complaint I have (very minor) is that you have to keep up with a special Allen wrench in order to take it on and off. It's just one more thing to keep up with. I don't mind it but some people may find it rather annoying.
