That said, the wraps have sufficient slack to slide. In your case, they would be more snug (which is not a bad thing). Although I am no expert, I believe that the 1.25" wraps would be too loose. Just as important, check the length of the tripod leg to ensure that these are the correct size. I agree that no product information is provided, leading to your confusion. I hope this helps. Regards, danDENITA P : 1.25... they shouldnt slide down or up because your latches or knobs will stop them from moving. However, they may rotate a slight bit, and that shouldnt be an issue. The worst case scenario is you have to take some scissors and trim it a bit.Gordon B : I would suggest the 1.25 inch wrap because even if it's a bit too big, you can add some extra padding (e.g wrap in duct tape) to your tripod leg to make it fatter so that that 1.25 inch wrap works. Conversely, if the 1 inch wrap is a bit too small, you can't chisel away at your tripod leg to make it thinner.

Technical information should be provided

There is no detailed description about the product on the website. IE;The insulation wraps are only 12" long. I needed wraps that are 14" long for my tripod. Therefore I needed to buy new insulation for the wraps from a home supply store. The outer material cover was able to easily stretch to the 14" I needed with an inch or 2 to spare. The product was also made in China. For an additional $8 you can get the Op/Tec which is made in the USA.
