I owned one of these and then one of the feet fell off, I returned it and tried several in the store until I found one with good enough glue to hold the feet. It last about 5 months before a foot fell off, up until then it was my main tripod and worked well, though the metal cut into the collar for the leg angle didn't work well, they weren't cut deep enough or at the right angle. FOr a carbon tripod it was pretty cheap, but this version of this model had several serious floors. I give it 3 stars, an average of 1 star for its present version, 3stars for when it worked and 4 for what i hope the next version should be like. I don't recomend it until the new version is ready. The question is when will the new version be availble?

Before I bought this product I hesitated because one of the reviews said a leg fell off first thing. I have had no problems at all except one very minor exception. One of the leg sections sticks just slightly when pulling it out. That's it. You could pay hundreds more for name brand tripods but for most of us, this one works fine.

Two of three bottom sections of the legs came apart with only brief use when extended and required epoxy repair. It functions well enough and is good value for the money

This high priced carbon fiber tripod fell apart! That is to say, one of the 3 legs fell apart!

When it comes to shooting cityscapes, the time to do it is after sunset or before sunrise. Too many photographers pack up their gear at sunset and head home, but the most dramatic shots are still waiting for you.

• Featuring classic European Styling, these Flashpoint tripods have all the features of other carbon fiber tripods, except the high price. Besides its legendary light weight, carbon fiber does not transfer heat like aluminum, but does absorb vibrations. This feature helps to insure sharper images.
• This tripod has flip locks for quick assembly . The center column can be separated into a low column for ground level use. The supplied wrench can adjust the leg friction to match the photographers needs. Leg tips can be set with either a rubber pad or ground spike for rugged terrain.
