not worth buying at all!
In regard to someone's question, it is controlled independently from the camera with its own on/off switch and the device is mountable either on the hotshoe, or on an accessory bracket.

Great for studio use
I use this product in my studio for lighting techniques. I also use it in the field at night for night shots and it works great.

Lightweight light, both size & output
Compact size and easy to use. Light level is rather low but quess in this price range you can't expect a powerhouse. Two together make a pretty decent light for close range. Accesory foot is too wide for Canon Vixea Mini-accssory shoe. Would recommend with reservations

Under-powered
It has its uses for that tiny bit of fill-in indoors, especially with still lifes, but I found its power out-put a disappointment.
It could be of more solid construction, and as I use it off-camera could use a tripod connector.
Stll, it is small and light enough to leave in your bag.

Powerful Little Light
Great light ouput, my only wish is that it were battery powered instead of AC. Planned on buying more and saw that they are no longer available! Bummer!
