It is very well made, and seems it can handle heavy load even at full horizontal extension. I mean good medium sized LED lamp with batteries. Double rails assure extra strength and extra stability. Three sections allow maximum versatility. They are on hand when you need it. I expect long life. I use in macro in the woods, as it can get very dark locally under the trees canopy or at end of the day. Folds small and is very light. Handy for transportation. At first I thought that end which inserts into clamp being plastic may break, but turns out, is very strong. Good alternative to higher end arms at low price. Get it, if you need this type of attachment in your arsenal.

Nicely made product. Double rail adds stability. Does have weight capacity limit. Greta for smaller, llghter strobe heads.

Works well for what I needed it for. Though there was an issue with my particular unit’s threading being stripped on the side with the hole (which is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5) but I’m getting that sorted & exchanged now with customer service. Other than that, it’s helped me to get the perfect angle in a spot on my desk I would not be able to otherwise.

Built well and highly recommended for those applications that need the flexibility of configurations. Definitely worth the special sale price compared to similar products from other manufacturers. Works well with a super clamp or on a tripod. Handy socket wrench included.

Great articulating arm. I broke mine down into two separate components. I don't recommend doing so, because you will have to buy additional hardware to configure correctly. However, it has been a tremendous addition to my lighting collection. I shoot from bridges often and use the articulating arm to mount my speedlights off the bridge structure for lovely backlighting.

I'm using this to support a VO mic in a very small closet, clamped to an overhead shelf, because traditional mic boom arms need too much horizontal room. Still getting used to it, and wish it had a little more 'rotation' available, but it's doing the job, and I wasn't having luck with other solutions.

I tried to put an alien bees strobe and mid-sized soft box on this but it pulled to the side and drooped. pretty badly. I had hoped that the product would be more sturdy than that. I gave it two stars because I still hold out hope that it will at least be able to support a budget flash with a barn door and grid on it for a hair light.

Articulating joints lock firmly, the arm seems capable of supporting quite a bit of weight. My only criticism is the lack of a flat side to the stud at the end of the arm. This means that something applying a lot of force could cause whatever is on the end to rotate when you don't want it to. Other than that, this is a valuable piece of studio gear.
