This clamp work really well and I'd recommend it to anyone needing to secure a backdrop.

3" clip clamp

Clamping wise, they're awesome. Strong. 'Had them for 6 mos now, and they still smell horribly of ultra cheap rubber gasket material. I mean, do not leave them in your car - that bad.

They reak like a harbor freight rubber hose.

Its a clamp!  Super cheap and pretty strudy.  If you want the wide jaws this thing is nice to store in your bag just in case you need it.

Very valuable clip clamp

This is an excellent clamp. It is rigid, strong, and has a beautifully attached rubber "bumper" on the gripping end so that it won't mar anything. I was looking for a clamp that I could attach to a swivel head shoe mount adapter so that I could hold flat pieces of cardboard or paper at various angles during a shoot. I couldn't find one, so I bought this one and enlarged one of the holes in the handle with a 1/4" bit. Then I bought a flashpoint swivel head universal mount shoe adapter, unscrewed the flash shoe, inserted the bolt through the enlarged hole, and fastened it with a lock washer and a 1/4x20 nut. Works great.
