if you load too much it will not hold or stay at the angle you tightened it at. Also to get something to stay in the cold shoe you need a screw driver to tighten the housing.

So far, I?ve enjoyed using this bracket. It allows me to increase my speed light output beyond what the individual is capable of by grouping three. This has been great for pulling the light source back and outside the photo?s frame and lighting a larger area. One thing that is imperfect about this bracket is the thumb screws: I can hand tighten enough to securely hold a speed light when the bracket is angled. Proper tightening will require that I begin toting a small screwdriver with me so that the thumb screws can be tightened sufficiently. Not a big deal, but definitely noticeable.

It didn't hold some of my smaller flashes at all- they fell out! It works with the larger flashes though. It still seems like the holders don't get tight enough for me to feel confident that it will securely hold the flashes.

Well made, definitely like this product. No real problems. the only complaints I have to say if I were to redesign this I would design it with a lever not a twist system to lock your flash guns to mount.

After seeing how two speedlights fill an umbrella so much better, I don't think my old umbrella brackets will see much use anymore. Having the option for a third speedlight up top is nice, but I'll mostly be using the two side mounts.

Best price for Triple Bracket -- looks like all metal except all thumbscrew handles are sturdy plastic. Appears to have two umbrella holes(?), one large and a smaller one in the center of the flash bracket - I was able to partially insert a small umbrella shaft into smaller hole - no set screw. The main tilting joint has metal teeth and a large , spring loaded screw for tightening. Cold shoe set screws are also spring loaded - CAUTION: take your time to carefully mount your speedlites to this bracket - adequately tighten both the bracket set screws and also tighten the wheel or locking lever on the bottom of the speedlite or the speedlite can slip out of the cold shoe. I used this bracket with 3 Yongnuo YN560-IV speedlites and a 45" umbrella - the entire assembly is big, heavy and bulky - be sure to use a good light stand and weight it down, even indoors. So far, this product looks like a great value.

The Flashpoint Shoe Mount Triple Bracket is built well and made of quality materials. It was exactly what I was hoping for to be able to mount up to 3 strobes on it for maximum power. I use my old Vivitar 285’s on this bracket along with a battery and a remote on each. It is rock solid. The tooth gears that hold the angle of the bracket are solid and secure. No worries at all about accidental slipping or creep. I insert a big umbrella into the center umbrella holder and I’ve now got a powerful & portable controlled lighting set up at an extremely affordable price. I can also just use a single strobe on this and go bare bones. I’ve been a professional photographer for over 37 years. I highly recommend this product for every serious photographer. If you don’t have one now you’ll need one in the future for off camera lighting.

I broke two Godox speedlights for Sony cameras while they were mounted on this. That is partially Godox's fault for building the hot-shoe mounts with poor-quality plastic, but I just generally found this mount extremely cumbersome to use and poorly designed. The tightening screws are all too bulky and get in the way of each other. This is a cheap piece of gear in every regard. I'd look for a higher-quality, comparable product. Save the headache of dealing with this thing.

I was looking for some additional lighting equipment and called Adorama. After explaining my need, the sales rep recommended this flash holder with the multiple slots. It is well made and will work just right when needed. If needed, I’d buy it again.
