Flashpoint Zoom/Focus Puller Lever Gear Ring

I returned this item. I was going to use it with a Panasonic 14-140 for video. I found the lever did not have enough grip to hold the zoom ring securely. There were very fine ridges where it comes into contact with the lens barrel...not deep enough or spaced enough to make any difference...too smooth to grip. My work-around was to add a rubber 'bracelet' to the lens barrel and put the lever on top of that but overall I was not satisfied. I also thought the lever itself was a bit too long. Going to keep searching for a better alternative.

As I have tremors in my hands this little gadget works beautifully for me. I purchased 3 of these gear rings. I place one on my focus and one on my zoom. I just need one finger to use these so I can pull focus or zoom in with no problem. Check out my husband's review on this item at YouTube/follow focus gear ring.

I am using a macro lens with a tripod. This ring lever allows for very accurate focus by just touching the lever with your finger. Very slight movement is possible and I get sharper photos faster.

I have used the Zoom Lever when shooting video with DSLR's. I use a follow focus along with this Zoom Lever. Works OK.
