Great little unit but be careful with setting your gain level
As a veteran podcaster (weekly show has been running for close to 8 years with 550,000 downloads), I only recently decided to run my XLR mic directly into my iMac to take advantage of my recording software?s capabilities. Prior to that I?d record only myself with my XLR mic and my Zoom H6, then combine my track and guest?s in post. But from what I?d learned on YouTube, the interface to get was the 2i2. As promised, super easy to set up and use. The only thing I?d recommend is recording some sample tracks with your DAW to set the exact gain levels because the 2i2 doesn?t have an actual gain meter (just LED light that changes color).

Popular for good reason. Works great!
Plug-and-Play with my 2021 14? MacBook Pro without installing any extra software. I like that I can redirect output to the interface through USB. Aside from that, you can read the other 5-star reviews for all the great things.

Excellent headroom, sound and service
This is the second Focusrite preamp I've bought from Adorama. I love the sound with my microphones. Having 2 channels for 2 mics is perfect for streaming and interviewing purposes. As a recording engineer, I especially appreciate the headroom in this unit. The dynamic range is excellent. Smooth sound throughout. And Adorama's service is fantastic.

This interface is great and simple
This is my first pro interface and so far, I'm loving it! The knobs are great and subtle. Works great connecting my Rode microphone as well as my electric guitar into my Mac.

Great audio interface if only 2 channels are needed. Receiving a free lite copy of Ableton and Pro tools after registering the product is a great incentive for this unit if you are still looking for a DAW. Compact and easy to use.
