I've been using these frames for a decade now, and still consider them the most affordable, reasonable quality shadow box frame available. I wish these came in SMALLER sizes--I've had to switch to Swing "Chroma" frames for the 4x6 and 5x7 sizes. But the complement the Dakota frames fairly well. Other shadow box frames are much more expensive, or they are not as flexible in usage (e.g., I prefer to have the mat right under the glass, then the spacer, then my artwork, and some newer frames do not allow you to do this) and there are very few suppliers/wholesalers, too. I continue to shop Adorama for these frames. My only complaint is that the backing/easel back boards are no longer the flat black backing/easel backs. They are now that cheap-looking chipboard "kraft paper" colored boards. They just don't look as nice. But for the price, it's still worth it. I just find black easel backs from other suppliers, and switch them out.
