Cheap frame; not really wood
The frame supposedly is wood, but [...]It doesn't seem to be wood, but some kind of composite or resin. Where it was chipped, there was a chalk like substance that continued to fall out of the hole. It would have cost more to ship it back, so we kept it and used a black marker to try to cover up the hole. :(
