So far this has been the perfect replacement for my last interface. No issues and for the price it is great! Would love a midi input but not too upset about it :)

This made a difference in the sound when using it for VST live rig. I use this in church to run Mainstage and compared with Behringer’s Euphoria, the sound is more defined. I highly recommend Scarlett. Plus with the price at Adorama, you can always rely its worth knowing the box comes free with plugins.

This worked great as soon as I plugged it in and installed the drivers. I get VERY low latency when recording now, with no glitches.

Just started using this as an input into a laptop that I have installed Amplitube 4 on. Working great through headphones haven't yet had the chance to run the output through a regular amplifier.

I have several 2-input interfaces I've used over the years, including a Fast Track Pro and the gen 1 Scarlett 2i2. I set up a test using my Rode NT2A mike (and a couple others) to compare those boxes with my new 2i2 Gen 2. There is definitely a difference in clarity between this box and the two older ones. Even when a friend assisted to the tests would be "blind", I could consistently identify the Gen 2. I was NOT able to distinguish between the Fast Track Pro and the 2i2 Gen 1; they both produced slightly muddier recordings. It was enough of a difference that I immediately switched everything over to the 2i2 Gen 2. THEN I noticed that the CPU use in Ableton Live had gone up significantly when I played back some complicated sessions, and even caused a particularly complex one to stutter - which had never happened with the Fast Track Pro. I tested to see if it was because I had the 2i2 Gen 2 set at a higher bitrate (96K) but even on 44100 the CPU usage for the 2i2 Gen 2 is higher. I'm not sure if this is due to the Fast Track having a more efficient driver - but it worries me a little and cost this interface a star. Most of the work I do is not very complex, so this should be fine for most recordings. I'll keep the Fast Track Pro around, though, in case I need it for more complex work.

Low noise, easy setup. I purchased a different brand and could hear noise coming through the headphone output. I returned that and have had no issues with the 2i2.

I've spent some time looking for microphones and audio interface online, especially on YouTube. The name of the product is being mentioned everywhere if the video is about audio gears. It might be a little pricey if your budget is under 100 bucks including a microphone. But if you're serious about what you're going to do, then it's still lower than other products. Just wondering personally, why doesn't the manufacturer put a sticker onto the box to be sealed. It was just easily opened when I pulled the upper side of the box. I mean it's definitely new with that inside look, but that was the question I had when I got the product in hand.

First off, I'm mainly using this to (phantom) power my AT-2020 for voice chat with the occasional music recording. For the most part this thing works great. The drivers were easy to install and using the unit is easy to use. I do have a very strange problem though and it is due to static and popping cropping up when using the mic after a few hours. I am unsure of whether this is a power issue with my USB port or a software glitch. I originally found people having issues with this and they fixed it by upping the buffer with the ASIO software--default is 128--I tried this and for some reason the higher the buffer, the more it popped and static'd. What's really weird is lowering the buffer to 16 reduces the popping and static for a few hours before it happens again. I am by no means very knowledgeable with audio interfaces and I could be doing something wrong, but this has been quite an annoyance. Otherwise, the unit is great and I love it.

Using it with a 15" Retina MacBook Pro and Rokit 8 G2s. Haven't tested the inputs yet, but so far outputs are working great. I will note that the headphone knob can be tricky to turn when the headphones are plugged in (which, duh, is when you'd use the knob). Wish the design had been better, but only a minor complaint. I love having separate knobs for Monitors and headphones; a trait hard to find on good interfaces for ~$

The Focusrite 2i2 is nice to lay down some ideas and demo some songs. I received a nice price on this item and have been happy with it for what it is. It's a small interface, for basically one person recording as it only has one headphone out, so it's nice for a singer songwriter or a 2 person group. The bundled software is a nice addition, though Windows 10 and ProTools are a pain to get to initially work, but still at this price range, there are some very nice plugins that you can use on your projects.

Excellent product, was not sure if I will be happy with latency and sound quality but I was pleasantly surprised! The audio interface is awesome as well as pro tools. Build quality is great and it does not feel cheap. I definitely recommend for someone setting up their home studio or just want to record their instruments.

Scarlett 2i2 2nd gen has great feedback, easy interface to adjust volume as you mix. Very durable, and extremely portable! Plug and play with Mac makes it so simple to get a start on your recordings! Sound quality is clear for amateur recordings. Easy to use, definitely recommended and Adorama has the best deal at ($) for the holidays!

Works great in Windows 7 64 bit. I was taking a chance buying the 2i2 after reading about driver issues people have had but mine installed quickly and easily. Sound quality is great and it looks nice,

I like that it works well out of the box, compatible with Linux, and has options for different impedance levels. I don't like the documentation, it is very sparse.

I'm more of a computer gamer, so my review may seem to be biased toward that. I bought this to use with my JBL LSR305s since I needed a balanced output. I wanted something that felt sturdy and well built and this certainly fits the ticket. It allows me to quickly adjust the volume with the satisfying-feeling knob. I also have a cheap XLR microphone hooked up that works perfectly with this. The gain control is very easy to use and the color-changing ring makes it easy to set properly when doing a mic check. The included software is also an incredible value and if you're doing any kind of audio production, it will work very well for you. I personally use this to output the audio to my monitors and to serve as an input for my microphone. I would suggest this to anyone that needs XLR or 1/4" inputs while outputting balanced audio.
