Good system for slide storage.
I am using this box to archive family slides from my parents. The smaller "compartments" make it easy to organize and handle the slides, while the bigger box makes the whole set easier to store. I like this size (junior) over the larger one for easier handling. I have also used the metal storage boxes, but I prefer this system to them, and the archive quality cardboard will probably preserve them better.

Dimensions don't match - but it can work
Good system, but the dividers need to be cut down to 2.125" X 2.0" in order to fit the boxes. The last photo illustration shows the depth of the boxes as 2.75" - matching the supplied dividers. But the boxes are really only 2.125" deep. Too bad, because that leaves little or no clearance for labeling, sacrificing a useful feature.

Boxes are fine, just a little hard to open once closed.
The boxes are sturdy and well constructed and will undoubtably hold up. However, they are almost impossible to open. Fortunately, once I've scanned and stored the slides, I won't need to open the box often. Also, the trays that come with the box are flimsy. I use trays purchased at Archival Methods which are must better. Adorama trays are made of 0.01"paper and Archival Methods are 0.02" - twice as thick.

Just like the picture, securely wrapped in plastic.
I should pay more attention to dimensions. Bigger than I needed, but perfect for the job. Even went after my parents' slides. Maybe it was a good thing I got 3! Packed very well.

Fantastic!
I was able to archive 14 (140) carousels and so far I am very pleased with the product. What a huge reduction in storage space! It was a bit tricky to open the boxes especially the first time. But I found it works best to place them straight up, pull back on the cover with your finger nails while using your thumb nails to push the base out (see picture). I still have organization to do so the dividers are temporary, but look at the quantity stored. Fantastic!

What is title?
It?s a good product. I have purchased three over time, but each master box is a different size. Apparently the only size clue is slide count.

Solid archiving system
Solid archiving system. Held over 2k slides from the last 20-30 years. Able to date the handy tabs so I know exactly where everything is. Highly recommend.

I can't really rate the product because it is far too large for me to use even empty. Two of these storage boxes with slides in them, perhaps even one, would be very heavy for me to handle.
And, Adorama returns are not the easiest as they claim. It cost them $10 + change to ship them to me and more than $50 for me to send them back. From now on it's Amazon or I do without.

Adorama Archival 35mm Slide #400 Storage Box with Divider Boxes

Good storage choice to save lots of space
Appears to be a sturdy (time will tell) cardboard box with metal-reinforced corners. Each box comes with six nested 'column' boxes. Each column comes with several spacing tabs, which are useful since each column holds about 6 rolls of 36 slides (plastic holders).
Large, 15 inches by 15 inches, make storage a challenge. I was skeptical of it, but it was the only option of its kind. I have a whole bookshelf of slide-filled notebooks, that will condense into 2 boxes. They will serve their purpose for me. Only 4 stars because it is costly. Two boxes cost nearly $100 !

Misrepresented and aLousy Product
The dividers are not as shown in the photo. They are just little pieces of oversize paper that don't fit inside the box without trimming. Don't waste your money because these boxes will just waste your time.

Sturdy and practical slide storage.
This is 6 long strong boxes within another strong box. Each long box contains group dividers and an end support for when the box is not full. The outer box is smaller than 2 Kodak Carousel trays and holds 2000 slides.

Great Archival Storage
I used two of these boxes to store slides from 28 carousels plus a hundred or so seconds that were not stored in the carousels. Each of the smaller boxes held 330 to 360 slides depending on the thickness of the mounts and how tightly I wanted to pack them in. Opening the small boxes is a bit difficult, but this is not a problem for me because all of the slides have been digitized and any viewing will be done electronically.
I would definitely recommend this high quality product.

Lots of storage at a reasonable price
These Adorama boxes hold a lot of slides, and they are quite a bit cheaper than the competition's. Yes, the lids are tight, but I would rather have them that way. I know the slides are secure. I haven't had any issues opening them.

Worked just fine
I decided to condense my 36 slide carousels in smaller boxes until I scan them. These storage boxes did the trick.
