Nice product at a great price. Having so many negatives it's time I started trying to sort them to know what is there.

It is as advertised. I have not tried contact printing with it yet, but should work. It is archival, so it will keep the negatives and uncut positives safe for years to come.

High quantity for a great price. Only removing one star for the open packaging on the product. Adorama did a good job at securing them with the shipping packaging however.

I've been using these for a long time now to store my developed film. They are cost effective and work well. The only downside is you use about a 1.25 pages for a 36 exposure roll, leaving some unused pockets.

Great value and protection for all photographers still using film! A must have! But also great protection for any negatives we have laying around.

First things first. I do NOT recommend this product. The plastic sheets come in a package containing 100 sheets. I bought 2 packages––a good deal for the price. But the rest is all bad news. The material is incredibly thin, slicker than a frog’s belly, and unbelievably hard to work with. It is intended to be put into a three ring binder. I accomplished this task but with great difficulty and frustration. That simple chore took me an hour to do. That’s right, one hour––sixty minutes of agony (including the time spent in cussing, stomping around, and a cooling off period to regain composure). Like I said, the sheets are thin and slippery, and I had a total of 200 sheets to fight with––lining up the binder holes of 100 sheets (one package) to place them over the three rings all at one time is impossible. Mostly I had to do just a few sheets at a time. If you are looking for a physical therapy session demanding meticulous executive motor skills, eye-finger coordination, coupled with fanatical mental concentration, then this is where you can find it. Like so many products made these days, it is manufactured with the minimal amount of material as possible. This product is flimsy, cheap, and designed without the customer in mind––a far cry from what used to be available. The company’s bottom line might look good for a while and the CEO might get a bonus this year, but it can’t last.

Great way to preserve your negatives. All my negatives were cut in strips of 4 frames but I prefer to use this 5-frame/row sleeves so that the edge of the negatives are not exposed on the edge of the sleeve. I wish though that they made the width of the opening slightly wider so it's easier to insert and remove the negatives

They're great and make reviewing negatives better. Since they are clear you don't have to handle them with your hands and it's so much neater to store than the slippery former storage.

I've been using these PrintFile negative sleeves for years. I develop and print film regularly. These sleeves are durable and protect negatives from dust, smudges, etc. I would recommend them to anyone still using film whether you send it out for processing or DIY. I store the sleeves in an Adorama brand (manufactured by Beseler) plastic binder box with three standard size notebook O rings ($). This makes it possible to stack hundreds of negatives without damaging them. I prefer the white binder boxes as I label them with a sharpie which helps with filing. The 100 pack of sleeves is a good buy. If you shoot film often it is cheaper to buy in bulk and thus save on the shipping costs.

They're a bit of a tight fit to slide the negs into the sleeves, and though other brands were easier to use, they were more flimsy. In fact, I am still less than satisfied with the area around the holes for the binder rings, thus the 4 stars.

These pages were exactly what I needed to store my old negatives. Very easy to use and they also fit into a standard 3-ring binder.

The pages are easy to store in a 3 ring binder while keeping negatives accessible and protected from scratches and dust. By loading the top six pockets, the spacing and clarity of the pages works well for making contact print proof sheets on 8x10 paper.

These pages are a great way to organize your negatives. Print file pages for negatives and slides are the standard because they work - dependably.

I had boxes of negatives. They needed to be organized. These worked great for me. I was able to do a "rough" scan with the negatives in the sleeves and print it for a contact sheet of sorts. Now I can pick the negatives that I want to scan for electronic files. I do agree with the poster that mentioned they were difficult to place in the binder. Because they are so thin they do not have much body and must be placed into the binder a few at a time. It was a little time consuming but well worth the effort.

I used the pages to archive and display bride's negatives. Only drawback, I used 36 roll film but pages only hold 35. Had to be very creative to preserve one negative for bride.

Still a great product

I have used these protective sleeves for black and white and color negative film for over 40 years. I'm delighted that I was able to obtain more of the same for a large project requiring me to get in order the rest of my 20,000 frames collection so that I could continue scanning them for archival purposes. The older sleeves maintained the condition of the film without sticking to the sleeves or causing problems with the emulsion and the newer ones were identical to the older ones. Thanks Ador...

Great Quality; Great Product
By Joshua G.
I had to purchase this for one of my photography classes. Great quality. It was just what I needed and it holds up well.
It's essential for both professional and amateur photographers to protect their valuable negatives from the damaging effects of time, humidity, and improper storage. Adorama's 35mm Size Negative Pages, designed to hold seven strips of five frames, offer a superior solution for preserving your irreplaceable photographic records. These high-quality negative pages have been trusted by photographers for over 40 years, as they are ideal for both black and white and color negative film.
These archival film storage pages are not just for museums, government agencies, or libraries. They are also perfect for commercial photographers, printing houses, publishers, and schools, who need to ensure the permanence of their invaluable photography. Moreover, a growing number of amateur photographers have started to adopt these archival storage techniques, understanding that a picture worth keeping is worth keeping forever.
One of the standout features of these negative pages is the exclusive thin backing coupled with high clarity. This unique combination provides excellent resolution when proofing, eliminating the need to remove negatives from the preserver. This feature is exclusive to our product, setting it apart from other manufactured preservers.
Additionally, these negative pages are designed with continuous seams, preventing negatives from getting stuck in the sleeve. This design allows for easier and faster loading and unloading of the Print File preservers.
The exclusive Hanging File System is another notable feature. It's specifically designed for hanging photographic records in standard file drawers or file boxes. Simply slide the hanger into the preserver's I.D. strip, and it's ready for hanging.
With Adorama's 35mm Size Negative Pages, you don't need to be a professional photographer to keep your negatives, prints, slides, and transparencies permanently protected. Even without an optimally cool, dehumidified vault, you can rest assured that careful handling and storage using these archival preservers will help maintain the top quality condition of your film library for years to come.
