Questions & Answers

Catherine L : So I am attempting to organize my negatives and thought these pages were a good option. After loading up several pages, I noticed the instructions to insert the negatives "emulsion side down". How do I tell which is the emulsion side? Both sides seem shiny to me. And do I need to go back and double check those that I already loaded?KYLE C : If you can't tell which is the dull side(Emulsion), read the numbers of the negatives, it's the opposite from the side you can read from.MAE H : The film often curls a bit, and the emulsion side is the 'concave' side...it curls toward the emulsion/dull side. Shining a light on the negatives can help locate the shiny vs dull sides. As for double-checking the loaded pages, I'm not sure that's necessary. I don't think there's a difference in the plastic of the pages that affects the film. It could just be so all the negatives are placed in the same way (curved against the page).

It Keeps Your Negatives Safe

Does what you'd expect it to do, you slide your trimmed negatives in and put the sheet in a binder or cabinet.

Everything you could possibly need

One of my photography classes requires the use of some pretty old equipment. I was worried that it would be difficult to find what I needed, but adorama had everything. Shipped quickly, too! Great service!

Kind of flimsy and the holes didn't match up with the 3-ring binder

Kind of flimsy and the holes didn't match up with the 3-ring binder BUT they did fit the negatives.

Perfect for keeping film strips organizd

I used these to keep my film strips organized in one place and easy to access. It's great because you can insert and take out film from both sides of each row (which is perfect for me since I cut my own film a lot and, therefore, have both short and long strips to put on each row). I love this product, yet expected the plastic to be stronger - it feels a little flimsy. I WOULD buy this product again though!

Nice, heavy weight, easy to use

Much better than some other brands I've used. These are made of heavy weight material, and are generously sized to make loading the negatives easy. Recommended.

Over the years, the importance of archival film storage has extended beyond museums, government agencies, and libraries to include commercial photographers, printing houses, publishers, and schools. These entities understand the critical need to preserve their irreplaceable photographic records. Today, even amateur photographers, aware of the damage time, humidity, and improper storage can inflict on valuable slides and prints, have adopted archival storage techniques. They understand that a picture worth keeping is worth preserving forever.

Our 35mm Size Negative Pages, packed in a set of 25, offer a professional, reliable, and convenient solution for preserving your precious film negatives. Each page is designed to hold seven strips of five frames, providing ample storage space. Crafted from high-quality, acid-free, and lignin-free materials, these pages ensure the long-term preservation of your negatives, protecting them from potential damage.

One of the standout features of our product is the exclusive thin backing coupled with high clarity. This unique feature allows for excellent resolution when proofing, eliminating the need to remove negatives from the preserver - a feature not found in other manufactured preservers. Additionally, the continuous seams prevent negatives from getting stuck in the sleeve, making loading and unloading of negatives easier and faster.

Our product also incorporates the Exclusive Hanging File System, designed specifically for hanging photographic records in standard file drawers or file boxes. Simply slide the hanger into the preserver's I.D. strip, and it's ready for hanging. This feature enhances the convenience and ease of use, making it an ideal choice for both professional photographers and hobbyists.

With our 35mm Size Negative Pages, you don't need a professional-grade, dehumidified vault to keep your negatives, prints, slides, and transparencies permanently protected. By using our archival preservers, you can ensure careful handling and storage of your film and print material, maintaining your film library in top-quality condition for years to come.
