ROBERT G : Will these boxes hold matted 16 x 20 Photographs?DENISE D : As noted, the boxes are 16.5 X 20.5. Walls are thin, so interior measurement is 16.25 X 20.25. It really just depends on how big the mats are. If the issue is depth you've got 3 inches and can plan accordingly. Reasonably sturdy thanks to metal edges.SASCHJA M : They will hold anything matted & or over matted up to the 16x20 size. The boxes are also quite sturdy. I store my matted & over matted photos in them without any problem & am very satisfied with them. I hope this helps with your decision.
