The Fusion Plate is an Arca-Swiss Style tripod quick release plate that has a deployable attachment loop. The attachment loop allows the photographer to connect a sling-style shoulder strap such as those made by BlackRapid. The Fusion Plate is compatible with Arca-Swiss style tripod quick release platforms, such as those made by Really Right Stuff (RRS), Markins, Kirk, Wimberley, MeFoto and others.
With the Fusion Plate the photographer can move quickly between their Arca-Swiss tripod and their camera carry strap, without the hassle of attaching/detaching devices to the camera. Fusion Plate features include a connection point for a hand strap, a 1/4"-20 threaded accessory hole (same as those found on the bottom of most camera bodies), an anti-twist pad to lock the Fusion Plate into place and a captive screw for securing the plate to the camera.
The screw is retained in the plate when not connected to the camera such that it is not easily lost. The Fusion Plate is constructed of color anodized aircraft grade aluminum and stainless steel. Available in Black, Blue and Red. It is very durable and is backed by a 3 year Warranty.
