Shopper : is this twain?CARLOS K : Twain is a software that can work with practically any scanner. I use Linux with Xsane but this scanner should work great with Twain too.JACQUES A : Works great as a scanner on my windows 7 / 64 laptop and I don't know how to answer the "is it twain?" question. Great for Archiving and Copying

Great for a small office. I had no trouble in integrating it into my office system. Archiving and copying any rectangular document less than 8-1/2" wide is very fast and easy. Adobe Acrabat is bundled with deluxe and is needed if you don't already have it. This scanner, along with a fast printer, will replace your expensive copier - you can control copy costs by sending documents to the most cost efficient network printer for the particular document being duplicated. This does not do books and handling things that are not rectagular is difficult so have an inexpensive flat bed scanner available.
