dreadful piece of kit
This is awful. The plastic is cheap and whippy and it is not robust at all. The item comes in three pieces with NO REAL USEFUL INSTRUCTIONS on how to put together. You need to remove the holder part (with the clip) as it is stored the wrong way round. This can take up to 10 minutes if you are on your own. The arm attaches to the back of the page holder but you need to disassemble the connecting part first. You then need to place the four washers in the correct place and use BRUTE FORCE to get it into position. This produces some cracking sounds, but there is not other option. The only good part about this item is the base. It really IS weighted. BUT the whole thing takes up so much desk space... I bought it to help me with inputing information for my Masters, but TBH it is a waste of money. I certainly don't see it lasting...

Instructions are near to none. The assemblage is a pain in the neck. I’ve had for 3 months and cannot get the copy holder assembled to work properly. Not worth the money and time it takes to assemble. I have since sent the holder to the firm’s supply room for someone else to use if they need a copy holder and after 3 months no one has wanted it. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Quality Seemed Evident
I purchased this product for a staff member who requested a document holder. This was the only document holder listed in our Corp Supply Agrmt so chosing was not a problem. The problem came up when it was decided that it wasn't what she wanted (exactly# it was handed back to me with apologies that she couldn't get it apart to put back in box. 1.5 hours later, and several opinions later, I managed to get it back in the box, albiet not the way it came #for SURE). The instructions were not user friendly, and seemed to be written for a stand that had less parts. Anyone who can put a food processsor back into its box, should not have a problem with a document holder. Crazy eh?
