Super Light Duty

This mail sorter is made for super light duty. It cannot handle lots of weight, understandably, because the shelves are cardboard. And definitely don't stack them, the sides will bow out and collapse on you. They are held together by only three dowels that you glue in yourself, and they really don't hold together anyway. These are a good temporary fix for light duty. I recommend something with wood or steel shelves if you are dealing with lots of paper or books, catalogs, etc. They do not offer replacement parts for the shelves, just so you know. You have to buy a whole new shelf if it breaks.
