I was skeptical at first in getting this machine (mostly because it is on the high end in comparison to others online; although, it's not as steep as bulkier ones go for), but after a whole day of use (non-stop) for my home office, it's come through! It's not too bulky, I like the folding mechanism for putting it away and it cuts and binds really smoothly. So far, I'd recommend this product for a small or home office. Will come back and review durability in the next few weeks!

The first Fellowes binding machine I purchased was for my job as a librarian. Since leaving that position, I wish I had been able to bring the binding machine with me. I finally decided to buy my own, boy am I glad I did! Now all of the photocopies I have laying around are all bound and beautiful! I love this product. So simple to use, my 2 & 3 year old granddaughters can help me bind! Thank you!

Purchasing curriculum for teaching my children at home can be very costly; especially including the cost of shipping. This year we decided to purchase PDF copies of the curriculum and print the books ourselves. The binding machine is perfect for putting together the student's workbooks.

Purchased for a home business that needs to bind reports ranging from 10 pages to 300 - work great, found that punching over 10 pages a little harder and for a 300 page report would get tiring.

The Pulsar 300 Office Comb Binder is a great value and perfect machine for my needs. The machine is light, easy to use and very durable for the price. It does not take up much space and can be easily transported to the office and back home if necessary. It looks sharp and the cover shuts to protect the interior when not in use.

This Fellowes Binding Machine if getting lots of use at our school to make books geared specifically towards our students who are at home at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our students will be able to use these books over and over again! What a great tool!

I have used this to bind an autobiography of my Great Grandfather that is 320 pages. Printed on both sides that makes160 pages and it went together like a dream. I'm very satisfied.

WOW ... Really excited just opening the box. It will definitely improve the appearance of my office. The first punch I did was so effortless and smooth ... hardly any effort required. I'm so impressed with the ease and the smooth look of the entire machine. Since I had another brand before, I know the difference. I was a Product Designer at Hewlett Packard in the R&D Lab for many years. I was a manager of Industrial Designers, and coordinating every engineering discipline to introduce new equipment into the market place. I am truly impressed. Great value for the $$$.

It does everything it's supposed to do, easily and effectively. Having watched various videos online and read many reviews I concluded that this was the best binding machine for my needs.Very pleased with it so far.

Just got this machine and it is; as good as advertised. Before I purchased the Pulsar 300, I took at look at the "sales" video. It seemed easy to use and it truly is easy and the presentations created look like I went to Staples or other service centers; first class and professional - But now that I have this machine, I don't have to leave my office, wait on line or deal with being 10th in line - Love it!

This is a very easy to use machine. The results look very professional. The manual says it can punch 20 pages at a time. 20 pages requires a lot of effort...recommend 15 or less at a time.

I purchased this machine with the intent of binding items that were not always 8.5 x 11 inch documents. I watched the video for the machine and saw that it was ideal. Unfortunately, the video I saw was for the machine prior to updates. After the updates to this model, binding standard 8.5 x 11 inch pages, this is a champ. For binding smaller items, removing the viewing window, adjustment window, and eliminating the template guide on the top makes it far more difficult to judge the best alignment for those smaller items.

This machine has replaced a cheaper binder by another manufacturer. The previous machine was slow and awkward to use. Limited punching, 3 or 4 sheets at a time and often resulted in wasted pages due to hole punching errors. The Pulsar+ 300 is about double the price of the previous machine but worth the extra money. It is a much more solid machine that seems built to last. It punches holes almost effortlessly and makes it easy to fit the plastic combs. After using the Pulsar+ 300 I think that buying the cheaper machine was a false economy. Best to buy quality once. Cheaper options always seem to fail when you least need it.

This is a very good binding machine. I purchased it to replace an electric GBC binding machine that broke on us after very little use. I prefer this manual machine to that previous one I had that broke. It's easier to use and I think it will probably last longer.

I've been using binding machines for 2 decades. I really enjoy using this machine. The only issues I've had are the guides and it is difficult to tell if your pages are clear at the bottom to make sure you don't waste paper or covers.

I had purchased a Swingline Binding Machine two years ago and thought it was a great machine. It was easy to operate (looked nice) but it failed me miserably when I was under pressure to put together a presentation for a Board Meeting. Very disappointed!! The presentations had to be stapled....! I decided to replace the Swingline with a Fellowes product because I have had good experiences with their products in the past. So far, the Pulsar+300 machine has performed extremely well. The cover folds down over the machine and stores very well.

As the machine is brand new - and my first binding machine - it is very much living up to expectations. I bought the machine to bind text books for the data-modeling technique I teach, and it will save me a lot of money over using three-ring binders. However, the included instructions required a lot of trial and error to get the first one right. I strongly suggest recording a YouTube video of someone using the machine correctly, and including a link in the instructions. I can see that the process is fairly hard to describe, but easy to demonstrate. (For example, the instructions simply say "insert binding comb" but don't mention that there is right-side-up and Upside-down. A video would eliminate trial and error.)
