Great product, one unsafe operation item

We just purchased this guillotine for our office. It works great! This model was chosen due to being equipped with a guard. However, it still has an exposed blade on one side (where items are retrieved). We've installed a guard with signage just to prevent anyone from cutting their fingers when retrieving paper.

Good guillotine

This is my second Fellowes guillotine, the first one being a Fusion A4. I needed a guillotine that could cut booklets. The cutting is very good. My only issue with the product (as with the first guillotine): the silver paint and paper guides wear off very, very fast. Backside of cut paper even gets stained. Is there really no coating more durable????

Basically Good

It's a good machine and reasonably easy to use but with so many products a good design is spoilt by a simple, inexpensive design fault. The locking device of the paper guide is too flimsy and does not hold the paper straight or at 90 degrees to the base. Making it a little longer with a locking mechanism that works and holds it firm would make it absolutely first class.

Bad Quality Blades

We don't even have our Plasma A3 Guillotine for a full year now and the blade is totally bended. This is without exceeding the maximum amount of papers to be cut at once. Now we are stuck with it and nobody can fix it.
