Cannot begin to tell you how long I have had this diehard of a shredder. One time it stopped working and I went into a panic only to realize I had used it so much it went into a cool down mode and eventually all was good again.

This does not overheat like other brands. Does a fine job, and seems to be jam resistant.

This is the 2nd product I bought. The 1st shredder last for over 10 years. It was very durable and worked well. I just had to be careful to not put too many papers in at once to shred.

I had our Fellowes shredder in my office for 15 years; and it started overheating, so I ordered a replacement. I'm sure this one will be as good, or better, than the first one. The only downfall is that it's a little noisy, but that's the difference between have it cross cut and not. We're happy with it anyway.

I would have expected to pay more for the quality of this shredder. Heavy duty which will hopefully last a very long time.

This is my second Powershred® W11C Cross-Cut Paper Shredder purchase. My first one lasted for over 15 years with quite a bit of usage during it's last 5 years. It would still be operating had I not attempted to shred a metal credit card. Thanks for producing a quality product that stands the test of time.

We have used this shredder for several years and for the most part it worked great until we had to REALLY use it (several years tax returns). For an occasional sheet of paper, the W11c works well. That is, until you need to empty the bin. When we lifted the shredding mechanism all sorts of paper shreds went all over the place. A BIG mess. We put trash bags in the bin. Shreds can not be recycled and if you put the shreds directly in your trash bins, when they are emptied the blow all over the place.

This is my second W11C. Purchased the first on November 23, 2011. Failed this past week. Never performed any maintenance?not even lubrication. If I would have done some periodic maintenance it would have lasted a lot longer. My bad! Cannot complain, 10 years is wonderful. This is why I purchased another just like it.

Pleasantly surprised by the handle on the shredder. Makes removing the shredder to get to the basket simple and it makes emptying easier.

I recently purchased the Fellowes W11C shredder to replace an older shredder that had jammed. I'm extremely happy with the new purchase. It is lightweight, fairly quiet and highly efficient for my needs. Although I try to remove staples and paper clip, it is nice to know this product is able to process them as well as shred credit cards. This product was marked as a commercial shredder and had many positive reviews which led me to purchase it for my personal use. Very happy with this model and make.

We purchased the Powershred W11C for both our small business and personal use. We are pleased with its performance. It is precisely as advertised - easy to operate and it quickly shreds multiple pages and credit cards. While we have only had the shredder for a short time, it seems especially durable and likely will sustain the planned usage for both office documents and personal papers that need to be shredded. We are replacing a Fellowes shredder that lasted for many years. It was still working but was not capable of shredding the number of pages needed for volume shredding and could not shred credit cards. Overall, we are extremely pleased with our new shredder.

I enjoyed using this shredder since I purchased it in March of 2016. I used it for shredding personal and work related documentation and it lasted until November of 2020. I think the 2020 election junk mail broke my shredder since that was glossy card stock. I was feeding it one at a time but it's time to upgrade to either a Light Duty or Medium Duty and stay within my budget. This was used multiple times a week and had family stop by to shred their documents properly.

This purchase was a replacement for a W10C. Fellowes has a good reputation for office equipment and that is what led me back to Fellowes. Previous shredder was about 7-8 years old and I know I abused it. It was not made to shred some of the things I put through it, nor the volume that I put through it. Never the less, it performed great until I decided to "clean out" my office. That did it in. Never a hesitation to purchase another Fellowes shredder, pretty much like my old one. It is economical and works great.

I had this shredder before. I took a charge card with a chip and it no longer works. Do not use a card with a chip. love it so bought another.

Owned a Fellowes shredder for over 10 years. It never gave any trouble and worked efficiently. Kept the cutting edges lubricated until I changed addresses and moved to a new location and over lubricated, wherein the roller became clogged and I burned out the motor - with the proper care, I would still be using the original Fellowes shredder. I recommend Fellowes to anyone who needs a shredding machine.

Great product always preferred Fellowes brand. Never had issues with this brand in the past from my previous job so I suggested to my supervisor to purchase this model. I just purchased a replacement shredder. I have had a Model P-7C for at least 10 years or more. This time a ordered a more powerful one in Model Powershred W11C. So far I am very pleased with the new model and hope it last as long as my old one did. The shredding is much more faster with this model and also it is more powerful. I just love the Fellowes models and have not used any other brand. The basic operation and product maintenance instructions were very easy to understand. I'm loving it. Store reviews were great too.

I really don't need a shredder for continual use, but I do need one that works reliably. My previous shredder lasted five months, couldn't be repaired, and a replacement was out of stock.. My purchase price was refunded, but my inclination was to look for the Fellowes name on my next shredder. I am very happy with the one I bought and I have every reason to believe it will last a long time.

What a workhorse! We replaced a much lower cost shredder that lasted only 8 months and decided on this one, since I know the brand and it looked very good from its description. I wasn't disappointed! It went through a good pile of personal docs in a flash!
