The 251Wh Cool Black Battery is from our Cool Black Series of V-Mount batteries. It has USB-A and two D-Tap sockets. The battery can be charged over a D-Tap socket or battery plate. It has a built-in protection circuit - as all our batteries do. So don't worry about that. The USB-A socket is handy for charging accessories or a phone.

A 5-level status indicator lets you know how much capacity is left. For example, when used within a cold temperature range, the loss of power is about 50 percent for that period. The 251Wh Cool Black Battery is our oldest battery but still as reliable as our newest ones. This one has also been redesigned - internally and externally. Because this battery is from an older series of batteries, it is also our cheapest V-Mount battery.
