About Filmsticks Clapperboard Kit
Filmsticks Industry standard All-Weather/Waterproof Sticks and Acrylic Boards make up our Clapperboard kits, which have been used for many years in the UK Film market. Unlike wooden clappersticks from every other manufacturer, Filmsticks clappersticks are made from ABS Resin, making them durable in all types of weather. No worries about sticks warping, fading or peeling. These clappersticks can handle any conditions, even use underwater!
The sound is always crisp, consistent and repeatable. Even "soft sticks" can be clearly heard. Having a 3.5mm insert slot for the board/slate means Filmsticks Clappersticks can accept boards/slates with slightly different thickness. The patented Tongue and Groove insert allows it to grip marking tape when measuring distances, prevents light from coming through the sticks when in a closed position, and reduces side wobble on the sticks.
