These clappersticks can handle any conditions, even use underwater! The sound is always crisp, consistent and repeatable. Even "soft sticks" can be clearly heard. Having a 3.5mm insert slot for the board/slate means Filmsticks Clappersticks can accept boards/slates with slightly different thickness. The patented Tongue and Groove insert allows it to grip marking tape when measuring distances, prevents light from coming through the sticks when in a closed position, and reduces side wobble on the sticks.
