I'm Matt Payne—a mountaineer and fine art landscape photographer based in Durango, Colorado. A fifth-generation Colorado native, I'm passionate about capturing the state's most remote and rugged terrain, especially its highest peaks. In 2018, I achieved my goal of climbing Colorado’s top 100 mountains.
Specializing in large-format fine art prints, I strive to bring the natural world to life through handcrafted wall art that highlights nature’s beauty and complexity. I’m also the host of the F-Stop Collaborate and Listen podcast, where I explore the craft and community of landscape photography.
