Reliable and simple router for the common user. Little bit of a learning curve using the home app if you are not already in the google ecosystem. But the Router setup was very straight forward. Setup to using it took about 10 minutes, and dead spots are not present at all 2500sqft home. Lacks advanced features for power users, but most of them are not necessary for 85% of people. Made the recommendation via google feedback that a dedicated app may be beneficial For users not using the home app.

This was the best purchase I made all year. The Google Nest solved all our WI-Fi issues. We live in an old house that has very thick walls and have had issues with WI-Fi dropping. Working remotely was very frustrating. But now our WI-Fi is super fast and extremely reliable. It reaches rooms that weren't reachable before. The Google Nest has knocked it out of the park! :)

Beyond being a beautiful marshmallow that sits on your table/desk. This router was setup effortlessly, I took longer taking it out of the box and hooking it up than it was to install it and get it going. My internet speeds max what I?m currently paying for and I couldn?t be happier. The Google home app is so simple and easy to manage your network. I would recommend to anyone looking for a fast, reliable, hassle free router.

Ease of set up is great. I preferred the previous Wifi app to the integration into Home app. Seems like there is less control and detail especially when testing mesh points. I wish you had more control on which band your devices reside on. The automatic switching from 2.4 to 5ghz can be frustrating when you just want to stay on 5. Not sure why Google skipped Wifi 6. Not feeling super confident about it's long term use as more competitive products enter the market.

Upgraded from my trustworthy Apple Extreme Base Station (6th Gen) and it has blown it away. I would lose connection when in the master bedroom with my Airport but with the main Nest Router in the Living Room and the Nest Point in the Kitchen, there is no dead space anywhere. I even have connection outside in the backyard without a problem! Definitely worth it!

Setup didn't go perfectly smooth and I had to restart 2 times but now that it is up and running it is great. I no longer have any drops that I had with my last Orbi mesh system and I have excellent coverage all over my house and property. I would recommend this to a friend as it is user friendly and priced reasonably.

This Google nest WiFi has beat netgear routers that I was using. My internet signal is stronger from our provider. No it?s not a satellite provider either. It?s From our local university.

They do not provide the speed of internet a standard router does. They do a good job of spreading the signal, but not of maintaining really fast speeds.

Great coverage, speed, and reliable connection. Managing the router, points, and attached devices with the phone app is easy. It was about 20min from opening the box to being up and running.

The Nest wifi was fun and easy to install. The Google Home app guides you right through it. It's attractive, much nicer than a standard router. I really like that the point is also a Google assistant speaker. Unlike the older Google Wifi system, the point does not light up unless it is spoken to. In a bedroom, the light was really annoying. The only improvement I would offer is that I wish there were more than one ethernet connection in addition to the one for the modem. I've plugged in my TV, because it kept buffering with wifi, which I didn't really expect.
