It to me, just seemed a bit "clunky". I know people love it, but it is just too awkward for how I intended to use it. The lightsphere is also turned "inside -out" when you first remove it from the box, so you have to turn it out for the dome to fit correctly or to fit the colored filters. The bottom line is it does work, but it is just does work for how I use a strobe mounted light modifier

When we use this diffuser the skin tone tends to be very warm rather yellowish. Despite of shooting in RAW not able to adjust the white balance. I am going to start using Rogue Flash Bender again

Yes I watched the Youtube videos. Yes I read the fluff. But at the end of the day this thing works and works very well. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat!

It is definitely useful when you need powerful light and it does it's job at it's best. But be sure that your flash should hold it as it's little heavy and when you twist your flash forward angle it may not hold the weight. If you consider these points you wont be disappointed. Hope this review will help many of you!!

Not my First Gary Fong product I do own a lights sphere universal cloud but because of the bulkiness It’s kinda hard to pack!But the lightsphere collapsible is perfect for packing and carrying on my photographic events !

The Lightsphere Collasible Speed Mount is an Ok light modifier. It attaches firmly to the top of my flash so I don't need to worry about it slipping or falling off. However the round diffuser that fits on the top of the lightsphere is difficult to push into place and falls off frequently when I attempt to use it. I like the light the modifier creates in what my camera considers a fairly dark environment but find it reduces the power of the flash too much in fairly bright environments. I did not find the modifier very useful out of doors during the day. Overall, I'd say its ok.

Gary Fong and his products are absolutely awesome. He has a great way of explainging things always making you feel like you can be a professional as well. The Lighsphere is such a simple piece of equipment but gives such a great result. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to use flash of any type. Also, I would strongly recommend going to Gary Fong's website and watching his videos. They are really good.

A little bulky. Top dome piece falls off a little too easily. Also, a little pricey for what it is. In the end, it does create better results than direct flash though.

I'm very pleased with the result, especially indoor. Before buying this, I'd tried DIY ones and some other cheaper option, whose light output difference was noticeable between the top and bottom of the pictures. This unit definitely improves my pictures. I haven't tried any of the color set. Overall, I'm very happy with its performance.

It took a little trial and error to get this to bounce right in a small room (mostly due to my inexperience with lighting), but once it was positioned it did a great job lighting 13 people opeing gifts in a relatively small room. It definitely softened shadows and spread the light around the room.

It's a must have and it holds on the flash good, but I can't pick up my camera by the diffuser like I could on the older version. I wish Fong would make the older model diffuser as an option.

Lighting works well - does what it claims to do in a nice way. Materials - fit not the best - Had issues setting the dome and the color filters in place and staying connected.
