Shopper : is this compatible with the canon 600 EX/RT flash?HORACE E : I have only used this item with the 580 Ex flash. But since it does not require precise fit (it is attached via a Velcro strap) it should easily fit the 600 Ex.MANNY B : I use it on Oly FL-50R and FL-36R. It fits both even they are slightly different in size. There is some leeway to adjust it so I assume that it will fit.DENNIS A : I use Nikon gear, so I cannot give you a definite answer. Sorry.

This lightsphere kit will attach to the flash itself (ex. 430 or 580ex flash) and it works with any canon camera that is able to take a removable speedlite flash. For canon cameras that have a pop-up flash, there is a "puffer pop-up diffuser) for that. This is for your type of camera and btw, it works wonderfully! I use this everyday and it works great for weddings as it gets rid of harsh lighting.AUSTIN M : It really depends on your external flash not the camera body... If you have a 400 series external flash or higher it should work!

Like this a lot!

Used the Lightsphere for coverage of a night event, as well as Photographing a group shot. Like the result, much softer effect, and enough light to cover. Used Canon Speedlight flash unit.

creates great even lighting

this is a great addition to my gear. They give smooth overall lighting and I am finding them especially useful for doing product shots. I was a bit disapointed to see that they do not calapse like in the video I watched so they are a bit bulky but definitely worth the space.

Lightsphere was just what I needed!

I was seeking a flash diffuser to use for a friend's wedding that took place entirely in the dark... from the wedding being outdoors with Christmas lights at night to the reception indoors with very low-lighting. Gary Fong's Lightsphere worked fabulously. It was exactly what I was looking for. The photos turned out well overall and I was impressed with how well it worked for me. I would highly recommend this product for its use and because the price is well worth the purchase!

I love this product!

I love this product. I received this as a gift and it had all three domes. The amber dome as such a nice warmth to every photo. I love how it brightens and evens out the lighting/tone in my photos.

Softens your flashes output nicely

The Lightsphere really softens the light from your hot-shoe mounted flash. It turns the light from a point source to a nicer, softenend light. I've even used it for adding fill to some outdoor, close-in landscape shots. I'm not sure it will ever replace a studio light set up, but it does work well for home & semi-pro use.

The new cloud colored universal Lightsphere provides the warmest softest light possible from your on-camera flash Studio quality light, that you can carry in your gear bag, makes the universal Cloud Lightsphere the perfect diffuser for portrait photographers and wedding photojournalists. This soft flattering light is the same light you are accustomed to finding in your studio when using a softbox, Calumet panel or large umbrella. ChromeDome
The ChromeDome Increases light output dramatically while still keeping the diffusion properties. You will have up to double the power and efficiency, but the look will be identical. The ChromeDome was made for the Lightsphere Cloud Model only - it does not work effectively with the clear model.

There is an open top to allow clear light to hit the ceiling. A chrome-plated kicker panel blows light forward, while the inverted bowl blasts more light into the bowl, brightening the bowl.
