The Gobe ND8 allows 12.5% light transmittance, meaning you need to reduce 3 f-stops to achieve the desired light attenuation. Simply put, it reduces the amount of light that hits your camera sensor without affecting the color balance.

Made with professional quality Japanese optical glass and Gobe's precision ND coating this filter has outstanding image sharpness and perfect color neutrality. As well as 12 layers of Multi Resistant Coating (MRC) this filter repels water & grease whilst also greatly reducing ghosting.

It allows 0.098% light transmittance, meaning you need to reduce 10 f-stops to achieve the desired light attenuation. Simply put, the Gobe ND1000 reduces the amount of light that hits your camera sensor without affecting the color balance.
