This came with the Nikon D7100 with battery pack and lens. I initially put the bag up thinking I would not have a use for it as I have bags setting around unused. I later got it no to look at it closer and thought the body with battery pack may fit. It is a tight fit but I will be keeping the D7100 and lens in it for quick access.

I've spent just about 50 years hiking the Rockies, too many of them wishing I had the perfect means for carrying heavy Nikons. There are other holster-type bags, and I've owned several--but this is the first that gave me multiple points to hitch it to my pack's shoulder straps, the absolute best way to carry cameras at-ready. And when you're not sure if the noise up the trail is a squirrel or a grizzly bear, at-ready is a good thing!

Seems solid enough. Ok as a "free" inclusion to a larger camera purchase. I am not sure I will use it as much as I should because I am willing to travel without much protection for my camera because I really like to travel light.

This Bag is too small to hold a full sized cameara and lens. It also has loops to carry film canisters. They must of had too many to throw away. So they give it to you when you order a camera.

The Slinger SL150 bag is the perfect small bag for trips when a longer zoom lens is accompanying you. With room in the main compartment for an SLR and telephoto or long zoom lens, as well as a zippered inner pouch for cards and batteries and an outer pouch large enough for another lens, flash, or even audio recording equipment, the SL150 has four strap attachment points for any carry configuration you could want. This padded bag will protect your SLR without inconveniencing you, and its double zipper features an inward facing opening, as an added protection from theft and to prevent your camera from falling out. It also features an extra wide belt loop so you can attach it to hiking and backpack systems in addition to standard trouser support systems.
