HARRY S : Does this bag fit a Canon 5D Mark 111 with a Canon lens attached, the 24-105mm?? ThanksHARRY S : You must do a lot of configuration to get it to fit. Will try it but can't see how.JOHN Y : Shouldn't be a problem. I usually carry a Nikon D90 with an 18-105 lens, plus a second lens (longer zoom or wide angle), plus a small flash (SB 400), plus a charger, extra battery, and cables with no problem. You could probably substitute a small prime for the flash (although I haven't tried it), but that would be about it. I don't like to carry any more bulk/weight than I really need on a shoot, so take just what I need out of my kit storage bag (a Tamrac). The Slinger works pretty well for that. If I need the kitchen sink, I just take the kit storage bag.JOHN Y : That should be no problem. I typically carry a Nikon D90 with an 18-105 lens, plus a second lens (either a longer zoom or a wide angle), plus a charger with extra battery and cables with no problem. I haven't tried it, but I could also probably add a small prime (such as a 35mm aps-c), but that would be about it. I usually just take the lenses I know I'm going to need for a particular shoot out of my kit storage bag (a Tamrac) because I don't like to carry any more bulk/weight than I need. The Slinger serves this purpose nicely.LINDA N : I purchased this bag and made an effort to use it before deciding to give it to a school photography club. It was not a comfortable fit for me. It might be better for you.PHILIPPE S : I don't have that combo but it might be a tight fit although it should be Ok without the partitions inside.STEVE P : I carry nikon d7000 with 18-200mm plus 70-300mm and 100mm macro all fit well.LINDA H : Hi! I would answer the question if the camera were a Nikon which is what I use! I can't answer about a camera I don't know. That being said, I love the bag! thanks LindaCHARLES S : Harry, My Nikon D200 with a 24-120mm lens fit easily when the camera is on its side. CharleyJOSEPH K : It should with removal of a divider or two.LUCIAN C : I'm not familar witht the Canon 5D. But ... First off it's a well constructed bag and a definite good deal for the money I paid. The bag is small. With the divider system you have two levels. I bought the bag to carry my Point-n-Shoots and a small note book. With the divider system in place I use the bag to carry a Fuji Finepix S4200, a Kodak Easy Share C743 and a Canon A310. This leaves rooms for some miscelaneous stuff. Without the divider I can put my Nikon D200 w/18-55 lens, screen down, lens pointing up. It's a tight fit and not much room for anything else. If you plan to carry other accessories, flash, lenses, brackets, then I would suggest a larger bag. Placing the D200 in the bag with the camera base parallel to the floor of the bag is darn near impossible. Personal preference here but I would not use it for my Nikon D200. I use a larger bag.
Shopper : How does this bag work with a Bridge camera and accessories?CAROL-ANN H : This bag will hold alot of equipment. I fill it with my regular SLR camera with lens attached in the middle compartment. There is room on each side of that for 2 to 3 lenses. The other compartments also hold quite a bit. This bag actually holds more than I thought it would. With a bridge camera and, I assume, smaller lenses, you could carry even more. I think you will love this bag as much as I do.BRIAN Y : I've liked it. It is a bit bulky, however, nothing can change that, because it has to be in order to hold everything I need. I'd buy another if needed.DARYL L : I bought this bag to hold a Sony NEX 7 and couple of accessory lens. So far it has been great. I have no problem putting the small camera, 4 lens, and various accessories in it. I even setup the interior so that I could slide my iPad in the back and carry it with the camera when needed. It sure beats carrying my 60 lb back pack with my Canon 5D and all its equipment.JACK T : This is not a large bag. I use it with a Nikon D-90 and a few accessories so it should work OK with other similar cameras.RICK R : Would be fine. We use them for our DSLRs with kit lenses. Also fits an extra small land (50mm) and charger. Hope that helps!RAY Z : That depends on the amount of accessories. For me, it is very roomy and carries the camera, one or two lenses, flash, filters, cables, extra batteries, media and notepads/books and maps. The bag is big on space, light and provides a lot of insulation from banging around. The side benefit is that the bag also provides a lot of thermal insulation. The multitude of pockets are great, keeping track of what is in them is the task. Very rugged and it cleans up beautifully. The strap is very comfortable and strong. The bag is also great for storage in the houseJOHN Y : For me, it would be larger than needed for a bridge camera and accessories. I have two of these bags, and typically carry a dslr with kit lens plus a long zoom lens, extra battery and charger, and a few minor accessories. For my bridge camera, I use a smaller LowePro; I don't like to carry anything bigger than I have to.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?CAROLE T : This was a gift for my son's camera and he seems to like it, He travels alot and the ability to use as a "sling" or backpack was the major desired featrue.CHARLES S : good bag great priceASIANTREASURES A : I use it for lens protection and It was on sale.GLEN B : needed it

Unbeatable Value !!!

I bought a Nikon D 810 from Adorama and they threw in this bag for free. I thought it would be some cheap giveaway but was I surprised !! I've had it for 6 years and It is a great product. I carry the 810 body with 28-300 attached sitting on its back lens pointing up and an 18-35 Nikon zoom fits perfectly beside it. Just the right accessory pockets for my peripherals. The price is unreal for what you get. A rugged bag !! Now shoot baby shoot !!!

My third bag in many years - I LOVE these things

This is the third slinger I've purchased over the course of many years. The other two just simply wore out. They are well made, of durable materials, but I take the bags everywhere I go. Hiking. walking. On planes. Thrown into countless trunks. They are very rugged and durable, but eventually, the materials give way. If - when - this third bag gives up the those, I will buy another. The one wish is for a smidge more space in the side mesh pockets. They do not hold a can of soda well.

Nice bag and good price!

Bag is what I was looking for as far as holding my camera, two lenses, eye piece and batteries plus filters etc. I saw bags that were more expensive and was unsure that they would satisfy my desire for a smaller but roomy bag. Price was a big factor for buying this bag.

Outstanding design and great value

My wife and I have used these Slinger bags for years and love them. I have had mine for probably 20 years and it's still going strong. We recently replaced my wife's bag because the mesh side pockets were wearing out. These bags are the perfect size for hiking or biking with your camera. Plenty of space for a DSLR or similar camera with lens, plus two extra lenses or a lens and flash. The sling design makes access easy and the wide waist belt supports the bag while hiking or biking. I have looked at more expensive bags but haven't found anything I like better. Unless you have to carry a boatload of gear, I highly recommend this bag.

Good bag but not for me.

well I reviewed this bag when I first received it. It looked great but after an outing I found some things that irked me but maybe not you. The waist strap is fixed it cant be just taken off. It can with judicious use of scissors. So when bending down to photo flowers the bag likes to shift, so doe my domke. This bag became a little small when I needed tp add a bimcj pf filters for 3 different sizes of threads. The sling strap is set up to allow the bag to rest on the left shoulder cross body. I like to switch as I tire to spread the abuse. Not possible. So for my use its a little small for a G9 and 3 lenses and a bunch of close up lens and filters.I did like the innovative compartments in different areas the mesh lid area was nice but to small for what I wanted to put there. Bags are always a compromise and none will meet all needs all the time but for my needs I went back to my Domke f4AF which is half full compared to the Slinger being over filled I would give the slinger 4 stars on quality of build and for those that choose to favor only their left shoulder. I have had multiple shoulder surgeries so I am more sensitive to this than others.

Best bag I owned, bought same bag again

I love this sling bag. I love how you can quickly move the bag from back to you front. This is my second sling bag, the first was purchased some 20 years ago and I loved it so much I bought a new one for a new camera. The original is still holding up. It also has nice hidden pouches which was great for keeping passports and such during travel.

High quality product, minimal wear

The camera is high quality & has minimal wearing on it; the only thing I've noticed were some slightly faded buttons.

It's ok.

I'd prefer if it had more space in it. Also there's way to many redundant straps and buckles.

Nearly perfect for a day bag

I got this with the intent to use it while day hiking to waterfall and forest streams and out of a desire to force myself to carry less gear. For that purpose, the bag is very good. The one issue that I have is that is is somewhat difficult to attach a tripod (necessary for the long exposures that I am attempting).

Decent bag for beginners

Quite a good bag for it's price. Has several pouches for carrying your cords and other batteries. Can accommodate my Canon EOS 50D + Rokinon 10 mm lens + 24-105 mm Canon lens. A bit of a tight fit but not too bad.

Perfect as a gadget bag, but a little on the small side for DSLRs or Medium Format Film cameras.

It was slightly smaller than I had hoped, but that is due in large part to the extra padding. It is a well thought out design though; It still holds 5 Nikon SB600 strobes, (could hold more if not in their own bags.), with room for some small remote triggers and batteries. I like the fact it is also made from a nylon canvas type of fabric. The straps are unique in that they are configured as a "semi-backpack" type of style, which tends to push bag behind you a little, which can be helpful.

Great bag for carrying lenses, etc.

This is a great bag. I can carry 3 or 4 lenses in it plus space for an extra battery, filters, and SD card. I don't put my camera in it, just the extra lenses, etc. I shoot Olympus MFT for my stuff is pretty small but even my biggest lenses (12--100mm f4, and 75-300mm) fit nicely.

Snug sling style bag, not good for everyone

Bag is ok if you like a sling style bag and if you have smaller camera and one lens. I found it too snug for my D7200 with std lens and a 70-200 zoom. Depth is okay but width is limited. Materials are good and it is well made--just not a fit for my needs.

Best bag I've found for the money

By canooten

Bought this bag mainly to use when carrying equipment on the go (vacations, trips etc) and have wound up using it as my main bag. Granted, the space is a bit limited, but it's not meant to be a carry all. Currently I have a 300D, kit lens, Sigma 100-300, Canon 50mm, Tamron 17-50 and Speedlight in the main compartment (it's tight, but it closes) and various cables, cards and accessories in the zipper pockets. Build quality is great, looks are....well, who buys a camera bag for looks?... Th...

Simply put, the best camera bag, period.

The value for the dollar on this bag is superb. I wanted a Tamrac Velocity 7 or 8. After seeing the Tamrac prices I began to look elsewhere. Enter the Adorama branded Slinger bag. This bag is very well constructed of durable material. It is the perfect size, comfortable, and easy to "sling" onto your shoulder and transport your gear. I have a Nikon D5100 and a couple lenses, Raynox magnifier, extension tubes, ND filters, and a few other odds and ends. This bag carries it all with no problem ...
