This seems to be a well-padded and protective lens case. It has an extra sleeve to hold smaller lenses. I'm sure that it will serve my needs for lens storage and transport.

This Slinger lens case is properly dimensioned to house the majority of today's AF mirrorless lenses. The wider diameter accommodates a number of my Sony AF zooms and primes without issue. The construction and materials is very good. And the outer shell offers a degree of water resistance if caught in the rain. The full zipper is a plus compared to cinch cord tops of neoprene lens holders.

This Slinger Soft Lens Case is a great option for protecting small lenses. The dimensional height is listed as 5". Be aware that this is the EXTERNAL dimension. A 5" lens will not fit in this case (I tried). Shown in my photos is the Nikkor Z 18-140mm lens with the case. This lens measures 4.25" and fills the entire height of the interior of the case when closed. I would estimate that a 4.5" lens would be the max size that could be used with this case, but at that size, the zipper would be very tight when closed. The included additional padding layer works well to hold slim lenses secure inside. The Nikkor 20mm f/1.8 fits well without the additional padding layer.

My Tamron 35-150 fits perfectly in this case. My only complaint is that the bottom of the belt strap is held by a single velcro strip that can easily come undone. The top of the belt strap is sewn to the case and is secure. So why did they put two velcro strips across the top rather than the bottom where they are clearly needed? I think somebody goofed. I have other pouches from Lowe Pro that put the secondary velcro straps across the bottom where they can do some good.

This was included in a lens bundle but I liked it so much that I ordered another one for a second lens. Perfect fit for two of my Nikkor Z lenses (14-24 F2.8 and 24-120 F4) but if I ever use it with a smaller one I would then use the included padded insert. Perfect price too.

This CASE FITS THE BILL FOR PROTECTING MY EXTRA NIKON LENS WITHOUT HAVING TO CARRY MY CAMERA BAG. BOTH LENES FIT ; TIGHT WITH THE PADDED LINER BUT GOOT FIT WITHOUT. Zippered closure and hard shell much better protection than nikon pouches .

This is definitely a worthwhile investment to protect my lenses. Not only are they sturdy, but they also include double lining for those rugged outdoir shoots. In addition, they are perfectly functional to simply and safely velcronon to your belt or place into your camera. This case seems well made and durable. The padding is substantial and should provide good protection. The belt attachment is handy if you only need to carry one extra lens. I would recommend this case.

Protects lenses well. Had in Africa, Haiti, and a few other places where roads were rough and some of the travel was crawling through difficult terrain. Never has any damage to the lens it contained even when jumping out of helicopters.
