Our Boston HD radio suddenly quit working. Trying to find a replacement HD clock radio for bedside table was an exercise in futility. Only a few were even available and none had good reviews. So, on to the next way to receive the local classical music station in the Philadelphia area.... After researching the available internet radio devices on the market, I settled on the Grace 6000 as the most likely to be successful to provide reasonable sound quality, provide wakeup to music alarms and connect to my wireless home network with ease. Received the radio about 2 weeks ago. The setup up was pretty easy and there were no glitches for me. The owners manual is moderately helpful, but still some trial and error to get everything setup was required. The alarms work fine. The sleep timer is a two/three step process. You have to turn the radio on first. Then push the sleep timer button, choose how long you want it to play (remembers the last setting) and then push the select button on the front. It would be nice if that button turned on the radio remembering the last settings. A small inconvenience. I would like to have a second speaker on the other side of the bed. I have a single that worked fine with the old HD radio. It does produce sound, but the volume control on the radio doesn't affect the second speaker plugged into one of the out ports on the back. The USB port also charges a mobile phone albeit a bit slower than a regular charger. Okay for overnight. So far, it has performed great.

Compact and lots of options. Loads of stations and easy to use. Better reception than any radio.
