I love my Gerber Suspension multi-tool. I find that it comes in hand very frequently. Most of the time I am just taking apart my wife's amazon boxes but the other day I needed a pair of wire snips and I pulled out my multi-tool and was able to snips the wires and not have to run down to basement where my tools are.

I've had my Gerber Suspension since 2012. It's the best, I've carried it on hunting, camping trips. It's been with me almost daily since I purchased it. Thanks for producing such an amazing product.

I bought these around 2013-14 and nothing has broken or stopped working. The pliers still work silky smooth, the serrated blade still cuts perfectly. Just the normal blade that I had to sharpen a couple times, but that's due to me using it more. I've had these forever and would use them basically every single week if not every day. Definitely have passed the test of time. Would 10/10 recommend.

Clip broke without undue pressure that holds the pliers. Now pliers are useless and I can not find any replacement part.

I loved this little tool, but I broke the pliers at the base near the central hinge. Sounds like a common problem. I was definitely doing something it was not rated for, however, so I would still recommend it. I liked the sheath, I must have bought It after they made some changes because mine worked just fine. I just don't use the sheath because I'm more of a metal clip/loop kind of guy. For now, my shirt pocket works just fine.

tool itself is great, but the sheath WILL cost you the tool. If Gerber replaced it with one with a snap enclosure, it definitely would be 5 stars

One of the best designs of any multipliers I've ever owned. I bought a custom sheath from a leather shop since the included one isn't really what I wanted however the biggest problem I have is I broke the tiny tab that takes all the pressure from the pliers. This is at least the fifth Suspension pliers I've had now (some on warranty and some I didn't take the time.) Wish Gerber could change something a little to fix the problem. I've also had the needle nose break but that's what you get with such a pointed pliers, which is one big reason I like that pliers.

Very good tool. Been using it for years now. The sheath needs a upgrade. Second one I lost at a job site. Seems everytime the valcro on the sheath wares out I lose them and have to buy another one.

I like the compact size, versality, and feel of it. I have not used very much and have no complaints. Only used needle nose once without issue.

Very very pleased. I have owned this multi tool for around 4 years with no problems. Looks and works just as good as it did when it was new. The only problem was the sheath that came with it. It was very cheap.

This is a great tool. I always have it with me at home and at work and it always comes in handy. The original case was a problem and Gerber sent me a replacement that has held up like iron. Would like to get another but don't see it on the website. Are these available?

This has been a very useful tool for me to have on my person as a regular EDC item. If I had any kind of criticism, it would only be concerning the scissors and the actual sheath. The scissors don't really want to work properly for me, but I can deal with that. The sheath's velcro is no longer holding itself together and it's starting to fall out when I carry on my belt horizontal. The vertical seams are in dire need of attention that I don't really know how to fix. Other than that, quality tool that I intend to keep for a long while.

Overall pretty good, but the spring on the scissors is a major design flaw. The spring itself is round where it pushes against the arm of the scissors to open them. This means that it just rolls to the side and springs past the arm instead of pushing it open. I think gerber could fix this very easily by using a flat spring or even flattening the interfacing end of the spring, But the tool is half the price of a leatherman and things like this are the reason why. Aside from this problem it seems to be a good serviceable tool.

Was very impressed with how easy the warranty process is with this. The pliers broke while cutting wire. I submitted a warranty claim online. They shipped a replacement no questions asked. It was painless and relatively fast considering. Other than that, I have not had an issue with any other tools on this.

it is a handy little tool to have on you. Ive had this tool stolen from me 3 times. this tool is great at light duty work so dont expect to endure heavy work applications, this tool is handy to have when you dont have the correct tool with you its a life saver if you se it properly. ive abused it knowingly and got very lucky. then this one time I once cut a tv electrical cord thinking it was a data/ speaker wire and it was energizsed at 120 volts and I DIDNT GET ELECTROCUTED. I finally broke my gerber tool after 3 years of heavy every day use, just because I was being lazy and not using the right tool. this the perfect tool to have in a jam. ive looked like a hero plenty of times just cause I had this handy on me. if you use your tools properly and in their intended use you will have them for ever. I have quality tools that are 25 years old and still work perfect. this is a quality tool if correctly

I've been using this particular tool for over 10 years and in the last 3 years, I've had to get it replaced because it keeps breaking. The frame screw fall out after 5 months or so. The sheath is horrible as the combination of the bad velcro and bad design of the sheath, the tool will fall out if you actively working. This is my last attempt to get another tool and if it falls apart within 5 months, I will find a different brand of multitool.

I've been carrying my suspension with me as an everyday work tool for years now and have loved it. Mine's a little dirty now, and since I dont use the knives much theyre still as sharpas the day they were made. I use it mainly for the pliers, wire cutters, and screwdrivers, but the sharp blades are easy and convenient to access. I love that it opens/closes easlily and intuitively with one hand, the locking system is awesome, its shaped balanced such that you dont have to look to know which end is which, and the way it'll open in an 'L' shape gives more torque and leverage to the screwdriver bits while still being ergonomic. That said, the sheath is pretty bad. It lasted all of two months before the belt loop broke and I had to put it in a leatherman sheath (which has survived over two years of rough use). The 'can opener' should be sharp enough to actually open a can rather than severely dent it. The saw is too thick to be useful, a single row of teeth would be better, and as great as it is it would be that much more awesome if it had a file. All that aside, I'm more than happy the use I've gotten from the one I have, and would readily reccomend it to others

5 star product. I use it everyday and it always comes in handy. From a loose screw to undoing bolts and nuts. After 2 and a half years of service the pieces that stops the pliers snapped. I have cut all sorts of wire ( copper 18 gague to 2 gauge ,steel tie wire to 1/4 inch). Might order the new model and see if it holds up to the beating like the old one did.
