I have used this knife as my EDC for the past 12 years. I literally do not leave home without it. I use it for cutting everything from rope, cord, tape, boxes, food... you name it. I love the ambidextrous design and G10 handle. The lock mechanism did fail after about 8 years, but Gerber replaced the knife without issue. They stand behind their lifetime warranty.

Great little knife, It is everything I have come to expect from Gerber. It has a very positive lock, both in the open position and closed. I have no worries about it "popping" open in my pocket. The rough finish on the handle ensures a good grip, even when wet. The partially serrated blade cuts through rope or seat belts quickly. this is my new every day carry. Great job Gerber. I would definitely buy another one.

Wonderful piece of tactical equipment. I did not hold onto this long as I turned it over to Secret Service to see the President on a rainy Memorial Day in Illinios at the Abraham Lincoln Veteran Cemetary. However, I've been meaning to replace it. Well worth the investment even when only used once.

Only had knife for a month. Sharp as a razor out of the package. Four stars because the lock mechanism is hard to engage when knife is open. Still, perfect size for me. Love the FAST Technology. The more I use it the easier it gets. Recommend this knife. Blade is solid with no movement when open. Stays shut when lock is engaged. Excellent design. Thanks Gerber.

I am an internet installer, and this has been my daily driver for the last three years. this knife has been sharpened and dulled more times than I can count. It has opened flat head screws, cut hundreds of Cat5 cables, opened tubes of silicone, anything you can think of. It still works well, but needs some well deserved TLC. Just recently it had a bad run-in with a tube of super glue, and it seems to have hurt the mechanism, but it even still opens and closes well. The lock, mechanism, or belt clip have never failed, and the grip still has most of its tactile feel.(it spent its life in a pocket with keys..) I have never oiled or maintained this knife. It is the same as when I got it. It came fairly dull, and I sharpened it right away. All in all, Amazing. Never had a knife last this long.

I work as a full time paramedic and this knife is the perfect size to carry at work. Easily opens one handed and the serrations are great with tougher materials. I've carried this knife with me every shift for 2 years and never had a single problem with the action or had screws fall out. Love it.
